At the end of the day, if they ain't selling, then it'll most likely be canned. People, at least in the US unfortunately, don't buy cars anymore. People like boring crossovers, SUVs and trucks. If they do buy a performance sedan, it'll be a BMW, Audi, Mercedes or something cheaper like a Dodge Charger/WRX most likely.I agree. I’m sure the Alfa guys would love our Stinger reliability and the Stinger was a great first attempt. But that’s the problem.
They gave up on their first attempt…
I don't think the bottom end has ever been limiting. The combined exhaust manifolds/turbine housings seem to be the biggest bottleneck, narrowing to about an inch I believe, and the reason we haven't even seen turbo upgrades (the few examples don't seem to really do better than stockers with WMI/CPI).Keep in mind no one has even opened up the engine block for performance modifications. I’m sure more of that will happen as warranties expire and more people try the platform.
OkThe last My 23 Stingers here were new AUD $70,000 drive away. That equates to USD$46,800
What you paid is also what they are worth here second hand. AUD $66K USD $44K
The Tribute was never sold here as it was identical to the top of the range Stinger GT here and Kia couldn't get a premium for it.
Plus they had Sh*tloads of GTs still coming in from the factory.
Gahdamn$44k, Tribute #807. 5921 miles.

[hint, hint]
Ascot Green is a fantastic color. Mine has a black interior because that's what I found when cars were scarce; yours looks great in the lighter tan. I was worried how the black would do in summer heat but tinted windows and a quick AC help, and I suppose if I'd gone tan I'd worry about stains.Aha, fair enough. Got her abut 3-4 months ago. Put about 3k miles on it so far, sitting close to 20k miles, very curious about how many others have this combo/trim
Where are you living where a gt2 costs 70k? Never seen any Stinger costing that much. That's more than a Tribute, Scorpion, Grand Tourer or GTS.Aurora Black MY23 GTII with Red leather
