What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

Sent TSW Mechanica wheels (19x8, 19x9.5) I purchased via FB Marketplace to have road rash repaired and powder-coated graphite color. Ordered Michelin PS A/S 4 replacements 235/40/19 and 275/35/19. Can't wait to see what it looks like on my pumpkin!

what are the offsets? my TSW offsets are 40 in front and 39 in rear, 8.5 in front and 9.5 in rear. I like how those tire sizes your choosing work together, with the rears c. 4mm bigger OD, that seems sensible since the rears wear down quicker staggered than the fronts do, and it always bugs me that the OEM setup starts out 2mm smaller in the rear.

;) These are +35 in front (8") and +39 rear (9.5") on these wheels, I ran a bunch of calculations to try and keep them close like you. Going away from the squared setup and selling them to offset the cost. I was going to go 265, but wanted the overall diameter higher than lower in the rear.

Just installed 19"x 8.5 RSSW Legend wheels on my 2021 GT AWD LTD. I added red trim to the centre caps to coincide with the rest of the car. I also added the red Stinger strip on the low side of the side vents . This matches the rest of my exterior and the red interior accents ,as well as the under the hood accents

Ordered more CARBON Fiber from Seoul Carbon!
Just checked them out. I keep finding more online stores like this that have no address, phone number or email contact. Makes me feel a little uneasy, like they have something to hide. Puts you at a big disadvantage if there’s a problem with your order. No BBB, etc.

Changed engine air filter, quick low effort question: Does anyone know the torque specs for the bolts holding those cross bars over the air filter boxes? (I don't know what they're called).

They were on *insanely* tight, i can't imagine they need to be torqued that heavily.

Getting ready for a alignment taking out a little rear camber from 1 1/6 neg to 1/2 deg neg rear tires are wearing a bit fast on the inside. However decided to lower the front another 1/4 inch in height debating a 1/2 inch right now, Night time Pic not the best, right now no rubbing or driving issues PXL_20240604_031239270.NIGHT.jpg

Bury it!! No seriously from the looks you should be able to get the extra drop you want

While my 3.3L was up in the air today, looking at the condition of the left turbo oil feed hose - it still looks brand new - I noticed that the RF tire was down to the wear bars in the center of the tread. Big sigh! I have battled outer edge tread wear by keep the psi at 40+, and this is what I get instead. So, to hopefully even out the wear going forward - probably too late now - I have lowered the psi to factory spec, 38 front 36 rear. Why do I try? Nothing works.

IMG_8397.webpGot the wheels back from being powder coated, then had them ceramic coated, then took to the shop to have them mounted and aligned….
19x8 235/40 with +35 offset front, and 19x9.5 275/35 with +39 offset and 10mm spacers rear.
Wanted the color to match the CF color tone and think it came out pretty dang good…

Finished work earlier today, and decided to tackle leaking oil filter housing, oil cooler, cooler lines and serpentine belt. But once I removed the belt, I noticed some play in water pump, so decided to replace it as well, since I had the parts laying anyway. 130k miles. Took me another 30-40 min to bleed the system. About to tackle the water pump myself. It was idling in the garage and I heard the bearing making a weird noise, so I ordered a new pump from kiapartsnow.com. for $188. Haven’t heard the noise since but I’m sure it’ll start again. That chchchchch noise always comes back. lol. . Anyways I’m rambling. Do you happen to know the part numbers for the 2 water pump gaskets? Any tips? Thanks in advance.

Nothing major. Just oil changes for both. Royal Purple 5-30 w factory filters. The Telluride is a quicker job w the filter and drain being accessible by only having to drop a small shroud. It’s 15 vs. 20 min. Not really complaining, because I don’t trust anyone but myself. I haaaaaate letting someone else touch my vehicles.

Your going to have to. did you get the recall on the Telly yet? a fire hazard associated with the power seat adjustment button and the seat jamming and burning out the electric motor. the recall affects vehicles throughout the Telluride's production history, not just limited to a year or years.

Ventured out to Big O, to ask them a favor – test my O’Reilly tire gauge on a tire in their shop compared to their tire gauge. Instead, the guy handed me a brand new Big O brand tire gauge NIP, and said, “don’t worry about it. We have a ton of those.” Outside I found the Big O gauge showing c. 2 psi less than the O’Reilly gauge. At home, I tested the gauge that had been in the Premium's glovebox, on the 3.3L’s RF tire, and the blade shot out to 80 psi. How old is this thing? All plastic, a piece of crap obviously. Binned it and replaced it with the Big O gauge, which now, in our carport was only c. 1 psi below the O’Reilly one. Both are showing 4 psi or more over the TPMS. Triangulating with two handheld gauges means that the TPMS system reads consistently low.

No, I dont remember any part numbers. As far as any tips, there's none realy. It is pretty straightforward process. Tighten the bolts to the specs, and make sure you have hex bit sockets for one of the bolts. 68419.webp

Actually my wife told me this morning about a fire hazard/ recall. But she had no other details. I’m gonna def look into getting that handled asap. Thanks

Thanks for the pic w torque specs. I’m sure the dealer can pull up the the correct part numbers. Hopefully. Maybe.
