Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

If there was a way to toggle boost ready mode (say, only if traction control and/or stability disabled), I would consider lozic, since the other guys don't seem to offer that. I would want it for the track, but not necessarily daily.

Yea I don't launch the car at all she's a big girl 4674 pounds!
But I do roll races so if I choose boost ready 3000 or 4000 rpm would it be helpful or off is fine?

I saw this video yesterday and the stinger has a 1.5 bar 93 Octane tune but running on E30.

You should order 1.3 bar. It’s target boost is not the only thing you should consider, if you’re running E30, something special will happen.

Take normal pumpgas ign table (after adaptation) as example, it’s like 12.5deg after shift to 17.5deg before upshift for earlier gears. Once you dump E30 mix into your tank, it will be like 15deg to 20deg, which is fairly aggressive. At this point your E30 might have problem to provide enough octane for 1.5 bar, which might lead to a funny situation that the log of your E30 mix is as crappy as your pump 93 simply because E30 triggers more timing.

Second benefit of 1.3 bar is how tunable it is with map6, if your E30 is good enough for more boost. 1.5 bar tapers from 21.x psi to 17psi before shift which leaves lots of power on the table. Considering how JB4 works, adding boost to only 5500rpm and higher is buggy basically impossible (it will trigger a higher boost spike after shift at untouched rpms). However, 1.3 bar might allow you too add boost across to all rpms to prevent this bug. Pearly and I have be trying to figure this out for years and all my failures will map6+1.5 bar and all his success with map6+1.2/1.3/1.4bar can back this up.

Okay sir great advice thank you, I also asked you for a custom map6 and I've been using it for a while now and it's great.
I'm in Rhode Island our gas is pretty good and our E85 is usually E85~E90 so I might go ahead and order the 1.4 for 93 and boost ready at 4k or should I just make it off?

I forgot to add this, I can comfortably run map3 on our 93 with high IATs

Better be 1.3 93 tune or 1.4 91 tune. Lozic 93 tune holds boost slightly longer before the tapering, if your 1.4bar runs slightly higher, this will make the map6 not tunable. Again, the lower your map0 is can always give you more room to play with map6.

Then your E30 mix should be dreamy. You might want to chase a super flat map6 till the end of the day, which makes 1.4 bar 91 tune your best friend.

Great will order that and see what happens. Also this is a map4 log and a map6, I'm trying to get a flat boost but the up shift spike is killing me.

I have came as close to as flat boost curve as I have seen (with Yves help.) I have a 1.3 bar that peaks at 20 and never less than 18 at shift. No big spikes anymore either. I think boost ready at 3k on low would be perfect if you are roll racing a lot.

Oh yea I roll race with anyone, heck I once raced a f*cking GT500 and I was bone stock.
I also sent a log to Lozic and he will review it hopefully something good

That is what I would go for then! I’m always happy to help with map6 once you get it.
You guys are the best truly no hate no secrets just pure love.

I don't launch it either - I meant the race track, not the drag strip - having boost ready after braking hard (down to 20-30 mph from 100+) to start accelerating again seems like it would help.

I've launched with factory launch once or twice, but I generally just hit the throttle when the light turns green on the street.. I don't chase numbers and I don't care about 1/4 mile times..

Yea most of my roll races start at 50 mph and at 3500~4000 RPM so having boost ready at 3k is optimal and I also went with "low boost ready" so it's not like super hard and annoying.
Actually the G80 doesn't have a factory launch control, but I braked launched it once Jb4 says 3.55 seconds 0-60 I know it's not that fast but the tires are shit it kept spinning.Screenshot_20230801-145406.webp

Made my way to Lozic USA HQ last week to retune my ECU from 1.25 bar, and TCU retune to add Power By Mode and change the downshifting harshness (among many other revisions). Ambient temperature in Temecula, CA was ~100F. Would've wanted to retune for e30/wmi but I don't see myself doing that any time soon, nor do I regularly fill up with e85.

Great stuff, if you don't mind could you please share a log of this tune?
