3.3TT Kia Stinger Aftermarket Exhaust Information and Discussion

No way bro!!

I have mine routed inside the cabin so I can hear the exhaust better.

***legal disclaimer…holy chit… no, do not do this… it was sarcasm. I am not responsible for your unintentional idiotic suicide by carbon monoxide **

has anyone used the tork motorsports oval midpipe with a mbrp exhaust ? to confirm fitment

I had inquired about Borla making an exhaust for 2022+ Stingers and they confirmed its in the works. Right now their targeted release is late April. See attached email I got from them due to my inquiry.

I wonder if exhaust modifications need to be broken in. I remember my catback and secondary downpipes being raspy for a few 100 miles. After that, it sounded nice and more refined.

Or you just got used to it.

I figured the constant heat cycles of the pipes and regular carbon build-up would affect the tone some.

Anything with glass pack does break in as the heat “cooks” the glass packing. If it’s just pure metal inside, it won’t change much.

Having some issues with an audible beep with no lights or codes. Not tuned. Happened after I changed to Ark downpipes with secondaries deleted. Borla exhaust with resonators were done prior with no issues. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance!

Your Stinger doesn’t like Primaries and Secondaries without a tune.

From my experience Lap3 will make it all better. Just make sure your primary and secondary exhaust are tight and no leaks.

Hi I have those sensors on secondary downpipes already ordered Jun Bl secondary down pipes now wondering if it really does not give any errors.

What year/model and what country are you in? I am in the US, and I just put Ark catless secondaries on my 2019 and there are no sensors. What you show looks like an afterthought or added for certain markets.

I am from Europe. This is 2021 facelift model. I bought it second hand. Seller said it’s imported from Korea. But I could not check because win did not show anything. Car hard only few thousand miles. I guess it’s OPF petrol particles filter. But I am not sure.
