Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

it seems crazy to me that you could have a 1.5 bar tune for 91 octane. 22 lbs of boost is 22 lbs of boost right? wouldn't the car just pull timing based on the low octane? what else can Lozic do to make the car run well on 91 octane at 22 lbs of boost? Asking so I can learn more about it, not trying to say it isn't possible or anything...
So 1.5bar on 91 octane will have same “peak” boost as 1.5bar 93 octane. But the boost curve will be dramatically different. So at higher RPMs it will have less boost and therefore pull less timing. Also on 91octane he doesn’t have the ECU as far advanced with the timing. It’s a little more conservative.

With 91 octane on Jb4 only I was able to get 21-22 psi peak with a nice taper and very little timing corrections. Hopefully that makes sense.

also set the JB4 to "don't group logs" so each log is just the one pull.

The boost dropping and going up in quick succession is a characteristic of Lozic's "Boost ready" feature isn't it? You can order it with boost ready on or off I thought.
I do have boost ready enabled and set to high. This may be the cause then. Just felt as if something was wrong.

high end power gain is so noticeable even if my nozzle is too small. I’m wondering what is your nozzle size? I think I should go 500ml/min. Do you think it’s good enough?
Sorry, was on vacation when you posted. I ended up going with the BM12 however I may upgrade to the BM14, as its easier to lower the flow rate if its too much.

Was told to try better fuel last time I posted logs. Figured I'd give boostane a try after researching a bit. Should be somewhere around 96 octane. This log look any better? Car has felt really good.

Timing deviation still looks high. Might want to try and do an ECU reset (pull negative battery cable for 5-10 minutes). Drive for 15-20 miles and log again

bigger nozzle(8gph) gives me absolute clean log now. No matter WOT or launch. heading to drag strip tomorrow and I wish prepped surface can give my indy some blessing.

The TCU tune removes or increases the torque limits, meaning the amount of torque that is transferred to the wheels can be higher. The TCU also increases line pressure for quicker shifts allowing you to be back in the power quicker after a shift. From my experience, at the track I went from a 12.398 to 11.955 with only the TCU and lower air temperature

How does the TCU unit increase speed and power for a g70? How much does it gain in performance
Night and day difference. Boost launch can help you break 1G easily. Also faster shipping between gears saves transmission when it’s dealing with higher torque.

How my logs look? Lozic 1.5, tcu, 93, and wmi. I feel like the 60-130 should be quicker

From the log it seems your car is making more power than mine considering higher boost but almost same timing. All flash tunes seems to hate high altitude and high DA areas.

What size is your nozzle and what mixture for WMI are you using? Seems like our car prefer 80/20 mix more than 50/50. And 500ml/min seems like minimum size too.

i mean low 9s for 60-130 is pretty dahm good!

I use 100% meth and my car seems to love it. Haven't done a 60 to 130 yet, but I also haven't used draggy yet either cuz it doesnt like to work whenever I try it.

Your timing pulls arnt bad, but could be better. What boost level do you have your meth start spraying at? Seems awfully high.

80/20 bms b12
What’s your spraying start/max RPM and boost then? I was not able to get a clean log until lozic asked me to do 2300rpm/10psi start and 3000rpm/16psi max. I’m using snow stage 4 but I assume JB4 is controlling it similar way.
