Question. I have a 2022 Stinger GT2. From what I understand it has a variable exhaust from the factory. I believe a aftermarket cat back exhaust would eliminate that. I have ordered a Megan Race Cat Back exhaust. Is this a wise decision to do this or should I just stick with the stock exhaust?
I have Ark Secondaries + MBRP Catback with stock tune. I think since I added AEM intakes, I overboost during hard accelerations when the weather is cold out.
I was considering the ark dp with stock exhaust, I have the injen cai in route. It definitely gets cold in Wyoming so… is this going to be a bad move? As great as the jb4 sounds I can only get 91 octane.
Could be a good thing to protect the engine from an unexpected condition.
Seem's the '22's are more prone to this, even in stock form. Maybe they tweaked the tuning a little bit, and now have unintended consequences.

I have the same setup though with a JB4 on MAP 0 to I install my plugs. Map 0 is stock and haven't had an issue with overboost in the cold. Was you car warmed up at the time it happened?

Picked up a “new” exhaust setup from a previous Stinger member few days ago. Going to get it installed this month when I find time. Kunstwerk Racing EVC Catback + lower Resonated downpipes!

Jun Bl FL 3.3T-GDi EVC Catback Exhaust for 2022-2023 Kia Stinger efficiency has been increased as the pipe size of the variable muffler has increased to Φ61
I read a post here a few months ago about the possibility of MBRP offering an exhaust for ‘22 Stingers. Has anyone heard from them recently as to when that light happen the previous post mentioned March but we‘ll be into May soon enough. I tried to contact MBRP twice via email over the last few weeks and haven’t received a response.

Thank you. This summer is a big window. Hopefully it’s not like a government contract that has a sliding completion date. Fortunately I’m not in a big hurry so I’ll wait a bit longer.

Got my Kunstwerk Racing EVC Catback + Resonated secondary downpipes installed yesterday. Currently running no exhaust tips because my old CF oval tips don’t fit, I need 51x105mm. With the valves off, it sounds a bit louder than stock outside and inside (no tips at all) and it’s so loud open that my interior vibrates lmao.
Also had ATQ Subframe Collars installed by the owner of ATQ himself at his shop. Car’s suspension feels like it’s in sport mode when in comfort but now it handles some bumps more better now and overall feels to flex a bit less when pulling into my driveway.
Ps, I’m suprised how little rust I have underneath even with over 106,000km in Canada. Lol
I've been strongly considering the Jun B.L midpipes based on lots of comments around here (and elsewhere), some videos, etc. I'm curious if you could shed some light on a few things:
1. Do the Jun B.L midpipes come with gaskets, or will standard / stock gaskets for the stock midpipe section fit fine?
2. Is there a recommended importer / vendor for Jun B.L in the States? One who ideally has competitive pricing and provides domestic support for warranty and/or shipment claims?
3. Any tips/tricks, or is it as straightforward as it seems? (And if you recall, which sockets did you use? Short/mid/deep? etc.?)

I purchased mine from K8 store during their Black Friday sales and had my mechanic install it. It comes with everything you need, straight forward install
