Lots of questions from a 100% beginner

Hello and sorry to annoying anyone with my questions, just need some help in understanding. If I put a JB4 tune in my car. What all do I need with it? Im 100% lost with what I need. I have a 2022 kia stinger and 3.3 and I'm also trying to understand if its traceable when I take it to the dealer. Also I had a question about coil overs would it void my warranty if I get them installed? I was looking into the injen cold air intakes and possible the bora exhaust. Any advice would be awesome. I have tons of more questions as I'm so indecisive when it comes to stuff I dont know lol

Jb4 tune - Get sparks plugs, Denso spark plugs, gap them to 0.022 and you should be fine.
For warranty/services, just remove jb4 unit and you should be fine.

So just spark plugs and the tune and thats all? Is it pretty easy to program or install? I'm probably gonna he doing it myself and I'm not that smart when it comes to cars. I do have some friends that might. Just not sure how easy the setup is

Countless vids on installing the jb4, best one I found was.

That's all you need for the tune itself.

Yep! Perhaps delete any codes off the jb4 app aswell just incase. Useful to get it so you can keep track on your timings/error codes etc.

What is the PN required for either the Denso plugs or the HKSs for the 2.5T?? Are the plugs relatively the same or is one preferred over the other??

I recommend getting our kit with Bluetooth and the spark plugs (CLICK HERE). The hardest part about the installation will be the spark plugs. We have an entire page of our website dedicated to warranty issues. Feel free to shoot us an email if you have any questions.

You don't need to buy new plugs. Your stock plugs can be regapped and will work just fine while saving you some money.

I'm gonna chalk it up to it being so early in the morning when you posted, that it was hard for you to think straight before I give you the "Worst advice of the day" award.

The stock plugs will start to have blowout and crack under the additional load that the added boost creates. We have seen it happen dozens of times on here. MAYBE OP MIGHT be able to run map 1 for a bit on stock plugs, but that's it.

@Erodri818 Be sure to buy plugs. They are REQUIRED for EVERY single tune/piggyback on this car. your best bet is to go with the HKS M45iL's, NOT the M45XL's, as the XL's are for the 2.0 engine, not your 3.3, as they will last the longest and are the most "heavy duty" plugs for our cars.

@Rodtheviking I almost just took your word for which HKS plugs OP needs, cuz I thought "yeah that sounds right" but something in my gut told me to double check, and I'm glad I did. OP has the 3.3, not the 2.0. It's okay though, its a 50/50 shot.

Counterpoint to all of this. OP, why not just enjoy your car as is, and not risk the warranty? Do you find the power lacking?

This is one of the reasons why I refuse to buy used performance cars. You never know when someone put on some mods, and then returned the car to stock before trading it in lol.

Could be, I did buy the M45XL plugs as was recommended for my 2.5T.
