Limited Production Stinger Atlantica

Wiring may exist but wouldn't it require significant mods to install multiple cameras? Is something like that really worth it?

installing after the car's been shipped would be quite an effort, sure. But KIA specializes in minimizing production costs by having as few variations/production lines as possible, and sharing as many components as possible. That's why you don't tick individual packages and options with Kia, you just select the trim, the colour, and that's basically it.

They aren't producing 2 different bumpers just for the 360 camera or not, they have one bumper, and the ones without the 360 camera just have a blank insert. the extra cost is now you have to take apart a fully assembled car to add it on, instead of simply having it installed during production.

I just added a video on the other thread, but i read the article you posted, very interesting.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
At least it’s better than the NADAL special edition, puke!
You're right, the NADAL was , hold on im going to blurrrrr..haha, looks like this Atlantica edition has the large Stinger badge on the rear, 360 camara and wireless charging in Deep Chroma Blue and Brown interior.

Brown and blue are considered a classic pairing, sartorially speaking...dark blue suit/Brown shoes, etc. But different strokes for different folks. Speaking of strokes, I'll take mine as a 2.2l stroker ;)
Just said the same thing on facebook myself. Brown interior with black head liner?! Black and brown in the fashion world don't pair.

psst.. I think we've done quite alright, we didn't need any ltd badge and brown interior :poop::eek:

Nadal version: Code violation and double fault, advantage Stinger GT

I wonder if the side badge will have the actual production number (ie 40 of 500) or if they all will say 1 of 500.

Eh, not a fan of that blue. Too subdued. And the side badge isn't all that attractive either. Cool to see they're doing this kind of stuff, though.

I am glad I didn’t wait to buy a Stinger. This is proof the 360 camera won’t be on the 2019 GT2. I would imagine the Special Edition is at least $5k more than the GT2. Not a fan of that color or the wheels.

Hahahahahaha the "Rafa Edition" 2.0 base model??? I need to apply for a job with KIA's marketing team, because clearly anyone can toss an idea into a hat and they'll run with it...

Well, I guess dropping constant shade on KIA reaped some returns. Don't know how I feel about the brown though. I mean I guess I do like that it's different from the standard black. I also kind of understand that red might clash too much and the grey will streak easily, but I'm still not sure. I'll have to look at the brown interiors on the Korean spec to warm up to it.

Anyone know if this is the full brown interior? i.e. not just leather, but also the dash like in Korea? Wasn't the biggest fan of it in the Korean videos, but it may look better in person.

Either way, I'm probably going to try to pull the trigger on this as long as the price stays reasonable. I understand though that it's a big IF, but we have enough dealers around that hopefully I can at least keep it at MSRP despite their 'limited' gimmick.
It has everything I asked for and I was thinking about getting the high end version anyway.

I don't know if this means for sure that 360 won't be offered in 2019, but I do believe that we won't be seeing Deep Chroma Blue as a standard color anytime soon. I mean they charge an up-charge for the color in Australia so it's not a stretch that it would be offered as a Limited edition here.

i will say this and take it with a grain of salt, I am happy to see that KIA has decided to launch a second special edition car in the states. At least it means they understand that this market is interested in the car. I completely understand everyone's frustration of it basically being an international version being marked up for us, but hey at least this opens the doors for those options that a lot of you have been looking for to become available later on.

As for the dealers, there are terrible ones and there are great ones @KiaofMuncie, in my neck of the woods almost every dealer is shady with markups and other things. We have a network on this site to help each other to not have a bad experience, so lets use it.

Now that being said, i'm not a fan of the color combo. i do wish my car had a badge with a number on it verse's just saying limited.

Totally agreed on the united front presented here. This and other forums have helped me a good amount by keeping national dealers honest about what kind of pricing competition they're up against.
