Thanks, just spoke to Kia and yes we have that feature. Unfortunately my car is still registered to the leasing company in Kia's database so I have to send them proof of ownership and wait a couple of days

And it works... that was quick. I emailed the support person from Kia at 3:30. Pretty slick. I can remote start my car from my office and by the time I get to the car it will be toasty warm.

Upgraded mine today, it took a total of about an hour to download and copy the files to the SD card (slow internet), but only about 20min to update the vehicle.

What's with the image of some other car for the drive mode change alert? Didn't it used to be an image of a Stinger? Ummmmm

WTF is that?

Is that on the recent update from a week or two ago?

Not that I pay attention to these icons (not present on the gtline in the gauge cluster), but that's just lazy. Lets use a dodge icon....

There appears to be a new graphic for the climate controls as well.

Just for info, the USB plug is always powered (at least on US 2018 GT2).
My US 2018 GT2 turns off the USB port and cigarette lighter ports after around a minute, at the same time the Nav screen goes dark and the music stops.

This just means that they are tied to the accessory circuit. Most Asian vehicles do this. Most US vehicles, these stay on all the time. Just a culture thing I guess.
On many cars, the accessory or radio stays on for a minute or more or until the driver side door is opened.

Still showing not available today.

So I tried updating my 22 GT1 and think I screwed it up somehow. The update went through as far as I could tell, it took about 45 minutes, but now ai have no Map or Nav screen. The main page just shows a spinning circle like it's waiting for something to load. Everything else seems to work fine and it's showing the new build number. Any idea how I could roll this update back to the original and try applying it again?

Can you just re-install? Without rolling back?

Not that I can tell. Going to the update page again and hitting the update button does nothing.
There is a reset button next to the airbag symbol on the dash you can press with a ballpoint pen that will reset the head unit. Maybe give that a try?
