Have you by chance thought of buying/investing in a car cover? Although I am intrigued with your alternative.Covered the hood in an old felt-backed table cloth. Why? Because a particular cat loves my car; to walk on, perch on, sleep on. Said-cat is a filthy slob, as most outdoors kitty cats are. So, oftener and oftener I come out to get in my car and the sunroof, windshield and hood are marked up with kitty footy prints, sometimes actual dried mud: and if having slept on my car, fur adhered to the mud. It infuriates me no end: but mouses are far, much, infinitely, worse: I have attracted this cat (and others) to our yard to keep mousey presence at bay. Thus, I must suck it up. The glass I can clean in anger. Not so much the PPF (and paint, for those less often occasions when footy prints end up on the roof behind the sunroof, and on the hatch lid). If I need more magnets, I'll get more magnets. Each night, I now have one more thing to do before bed. Heh.

(edit to update: I bought a fresh table cloth that is a nice color, and not stained on the felt side, and it is bigger: also I doubled the number of ceramic magnets from 16 to 32)

You have been promoted to the recon crew.so kia has had my car since 7am. (my appt was at 7am) it sat in a parking lot outside the service center until 11:30am. then i watched someone driving it around for 20 minutes thru my dash cams. Gas ain't cheap man! they also left it running/idle for a good 15 minutes inside the shop.
i watched other footage and i dont think they've done one thing to it yet.
at one point of viewing footage, i heard one guy inside the car say "damn these cars have lots of problems."
Was to be read as a sarcastic. There are ways that do work better than others and if done right, you get a much shorter stopping distance as a result.
You can see on GT Elite's pics that the pad material has bonded well with the discs.
You my friend need Carbon Fibre brakes to complete your fettish

Yes. I decided against a complete cover, because over time it would get filthy inside (dust and all): the car's surface would suffer more than routinely cleaning off kitty dander and dirt. But I've ditched all attempts to avoid that: and ironically, since I put away the table cloth and magnets, I haven't seen any kitty cat presence on my car: for a while there, it was a nightly/daily event.Have you by chance thought of buying/investing in a car cover? i dont think they know if it is common or not. they gave me no feedback on it. they also did not say how long it would take to get the part in.@n8hegr8 Did they say the motors going out is common problem?
I'm sure that's what's wrong with mine rear, driver's side window as well.
Any word on how long it will take them to get the part?
I think that's an internal use only, not external. How is it holding up to the heat? I wrapped a few pieces inside mine with this.Only picture i have. But it does give some representation of the difference between the wrap and real. My filter cover is CF.
This is the wrap i bought for the braces. Cheap experiment

Its been fine, dont think the heat has played much into my lone problem spot. Only place where i have an issue is my seam on the underside in the bend. Im sure i either had touched the edge too much or overstreched so it shrank some. Only 1 brace has an issue. I haven't fixed it yet because nobody would know if i didn't show them.I think that's an internal use only, not external. How is it holding up to the heat? I have the stuff to hydro dip the braces CF. Just haven’t spent the time yet to do it.Its been fine, dont think the heat has played much into my lone problem spot. So overall im happy with it. Whether i stay with it or just buy CF braces is yet to be decided
Nice! That should be cool to do. I take it you've done it before? I actually have another idea for the braces but dont know about that one either. I mean i found the CF braces for around 260 so tough callI have the stuff to hydro dip the braces CF. Just haven’t spent the time yet to do it.
