Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

Perhaps and I forgot to mention but you are correct e30+93+meth(85/15). I think it's the ecu learning because it's getting better.
I would be VERY interested in seeing what your trim tables, KR, lambda and duty cycles look like with that fueling!

She's just settling in let's give it a few and I'll send ya some.

Comparsion: Just a thought... scientifically...!

To know, not speculate, we need to have a comparsion of 2 AWD Stingers with street tires

1. Lozec ECU 1,5 + TCU and bolt ons
2. JB4 + TCU and bolt ons

  • Bolt on´s need to be: Free exhaust, DP´s, (cats on DP´s or middle), Inlets + filter, charge pipe, Big IC, Plugs, Catch Cans is free, elevation and temp also in range
  • Both with same fuel and with or without WMI as long as both is equal
  • Fuel should be max mix of 30% E85 and 93, Meth 80/10 if that should be use

1. 0-402 meter with 60 feet
2. 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph)

Dragy would be best for comparsion.

What do you guys think of this? Anyone that can manage this test?

Seems I will be the first to publish JB4 Map 6...

...hope you guys will shime in here...!

I hear ya but Dragy is widely accepted in the drag racing world.
I spent almost 3 years working for a large r&d partner for the 3 domestic automaker's performance divisions. The owner of said company is also a WR holder in the 10.5" and top fuel circuits as well. I spent probably a year of that actually on real tracks (drag and loop) doing test and tuning...never once on a street with draggy. I've worked on the ecoboost family, s550 gt350/350r, s550 Bullitt, s550 cobra (not released), c8, c8 z06, c8 zr1, 6g zl1, demon, red eye and the hellcat family. I'm not just some keyboard engineer...I stayed at a holiday in express last night!

If we're comparison shopping, which we clearly are, the conditions should be as equal as possible. Public roads are too varied, if you don't believe me...just ask anyone who lives on the Michigan/Ohio boarder.

I think that the easiest comp is going to be a regular 93 or straight e30 tune is where we need to be. Most guys never bother with WMI, primary DPs or giant FMIC's (which are really only beneficial for repeated testing). If you don't believe me, search the forum for the will putting 5hp stickers on my car void the warranty questions

This thread could wind up being 1:2 things, a treasure trove of positive sales data for Lozic (fingers crossed).....or the same clown show as the lap3 & mishimoto threads. Either way we all should want this real-world data.

I know that I sound like a curmudgeon with my replies in this thread, but I'm genuinely interested. I've been asking Terry about DFCO and TCU control for 35k miles now. If performance is equal or a negligible +/- I'm probably in just for that . I just want to know.

It all depends on your goals too. If you are into Drag racing, maybe 1/4 second is really important to you. If you are just tuning for fun, then 11.50 vs. 12.0 in the quarter is not a really big deal. If you already have WMI and JB4, I can't see adding Lozic Tune just to get some additional boost off the line. From 30 mph on up I suspect JB4 and Lozic are pretty similar. How much past 22 lbs of boost can we really run safely?

I agree. And with a TCU you can launch a JB4 with boost.

I'm pretty sure this is a Lozic thread.

yep, no doubt. it does sound good. just trying to talk myself out of getting it! Wondering how it would be running meth with the JB4 but having a Lozic tune??? LOL.

Hey guys got my order sheet for my ECU and need help filling it out. What is "catalyst heating at cold start" and what is "installed stop and go, ISG"

Here was last track slip, he was having a problem a torque safety shutting down his launch and still ran a 11.11, working with Lozic and others to remedy the situation. Video is on facebook
Yes we are still working on a solution to solve the torque limit. It only happens at the track when it's sticky and the wheels do not have a little bit of spin. I went back to the track a Thursday. Having completely removed brake snip barely did any tire deflation 28 rear 30 front. I was only building 5psi sport mode launching around 2100-2300 rpm. It would still slam the throttle closed some. So I had to resort to launching in 2nd gear with only 5 psi 60ft suffered bad at 1.8 i was still traping 124-125 running 11.2s. My awd tune should be here this week I'm hoping it will solve the launch issuses at the track.Sorry I haven't been getting emails to say anyone has been posting in here. I do have videos of the 2nd gear launches on Facebook IMR stinger page. And also on my Instagram. As soon as it let's me do a proper launch at the track I would think you will see a 10 on paper atleast that is the plan. As of rightnow the crappy 11.111 run some how is still the best on paper slips for the stinger. That time won't last for long someone is bound to beat it. And yes I use my ewg wires and fuel control along with running the jb4 on every pass. Sometimes it's all disabled besides the need to operate the cpi and get logs. Depends on the weather and situation.

It would work great I use my jb4 every day to operate the cpi. And in the need to fine tune you have it along with always having logs. This tune at 1.5 bar has to have a power adder such as meth or cpi from what I seen. I was pulling 10deg timing in ign 2-6 at WOT running just 93. There is a log posted months back on one of the first couple pages.

Also whats the difference between the pops and the bang option on the sheet. Sorry for asking clarifying questions here I don't really want to ask lozic and get lost in translation

Yes I understand exactly about the lost in translation with lozic it really is what makes trying to solve certain issues you find in the tune tough. To be honest with the pops and bangs I'm not sure I did not get any of that with my tune just my personal preference.

What would you like to know about the lozic tune. I have made a few hundred passes from the same location. I'm sure my car hate me.Testing all kinds of things on this tune. Ofcouse it's not perfect data can't control the current temp, humidity, DA, wind and so on. And there is a ton of things that still need to be worked on and figured out with this tune. I try to keep the testing the best I can I am a mechanic that does jet engine test and development of brand new programs for commercial airlines a few years before the public ever gets to fly on one so far have been doing it for 10 years.

Have you tested the difference between fuel wires attached and not to see if there's any affect +/- with them?

I know this has been said before. However, I’ll say it again. Thank you for doing all these detailed tests and talking about your results here. I think with the disconnect between the ‘lost in translation’ and lack of information by the company, a lot of Stinger owners are relying on people like you. Much appreciated!

I'm really on the fence about doing the whole thing. But nervous about the language barrier and not much testing done yet. I'm hoping results start pouring in so I can feel confident and pull the trigger as it looks very promising
