What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

Use the Turtle Wax graphene precision platelet one and done. Can use pads to adjust the aggression. I believe it’s non staining and low/no dust and sunlight friendly. I just did my car with Maguire’s 101/105. Lots of dust and have to mask as it stains black trim and I had to borrow my In laws garage. If I was to do it today I would be using Turtle Wax. Don’t be thrown by the Turtle Wax name they have come a long long way from the past. They are making some really great products.

My baby.

The Lap3 just felt simpler to me...plug it in and go. While the JB4 does seem to have the ability to unlock more of the engine, I have some concerns long term on the impacts to the engine and drivetrain. I also don't see myself taking my Stinger to the drag strip or looking for any vehicles to confront on the roads. I just wanted a few extra ponies under my right foot to have fun with entering and exiting the ramps from the highway and in case of evasive maneuvering is needed. With many of these drivers today looking at their phones and not the road, I've been darn near side swiped more times that I like to recall...and I only have 1400 miles on the car after 9 months of ownership.
Someone correct me if I am wrong, but from what I understand about the JB4 is that it can be as simple (PnP) as the LAP3. You can get by with just the two sensor intercepts, and you will get benefits. If you want to unlock more potential (such as fuel control and advanced logging), then you can connect the fuel wires and the OBD wire, but it isn't essential for basic operation.

Yes, that is correct. I would get the bluetooth module so you can switch maps on the fly with your phone as well. You should also do the spark plugs. But, once you do the plugs, you just leave them, even if you have to take out the JB4, like if you go to the dealer for service.

Dusted off NAV: holy crap! Dirt, not just dust: I was banging out my Cali duster section by section; went over the tail pipes and diffuser and wheels with my boar's hair brush; neighbor across the street was out on his front lawn spraying down his car with a handheld pressure sprayer; my son’s SUV (parked out front) is simply filthy; what happened, evidently, is that after it snowed we got a wind that deposited a LOT of crud on top of the melting snow; glad for the carport sparing me the wet component of all that. (The wind was with me, from the south for a change! :p)

I installed the auto hold/ISG memory module from shark racing.
Install was super easy and works great.

I installed a set of HKS plugs in preparation for putting on a jb4. I used the intake removal method for clear access to the coil packs and plugs.
I have an appointment on Wednesday to do the HECU recall, the jb4 goes on after that.

Well, not today, but last year swapped out factory air filters for K & N filters.
Had them since Jan. 2020, but waited for o.e. to get dirty first.. haha. they still weren't so dirty when I took them out.
Never did get to the track before the swap, so I can know a before and after on 1/4 mile runs... I suspect they'd help a bit for sure.
just 0-100 runs I've done sine, I get a we bit faster times, just a wee bit, but I suspect more effective in 1/4 mile.

Will eventually get some GT and Stinger badges to swap out too... I don't like the E and L ones. i don't get those ? E for excellence or what the heck does it stand for ? and the L looks like a Lexus, so that's kind of dumb too.
I saw one in my town the other day and I assumed it was a Lexus, until 1-2 seconds I realized Dah, it's a stinger.. oh yah, that stupid L badge... No weird ones for me.. It's a Kia and a Stinger so a fancy K or S is cool but E and L ?? or a logo of an animal or a lighting bolt or some cool logo...
Anyways. no offense to those who go with them, but I just don't get them ?

Oh yah, forgot, did a tint and my winter wheels set up is pretty sweet too.

It's an impressionist "K", not an L. But I understand. My "K" skins are two and a half years on; still look good; but I haven't seen anyone get messed with by having them in a long time; so, increasingly, I'm of a mind to pull them and return to the stock KIA.

Got my stinger back from the shop after getting the eibech springs, front & rear sway bars installed......love it.

Pics soon
