What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

I'll answer for him, yes it's loud in cabin with low RPM drone IMO. I added aftermarket tips and it's totally fine now!

I second that. But I also have the Jun Bl downpipe and the drone is insane inside the cabin IMO. Sounds great but I know that’s not everyone’s taste.

I'm up in the air on if I should go premium or GT1. Money is a little tight since I'm in the military, Lol. It will be replacing a 2011 VW CC. Had VW's all my life but the Stinger is too gorgeous to pass up.

Try a pre-owned GT if you’re after the power... night and day vs 4T. I managed a Kia store for 7 years so I would also suggest doing a search for ANY 2020 leftover Stingers, 4 or 6 cyl as there are huge rebates on some (9,000) Good luck

The aftermarket tips, are they the Borla tips you can get ?

No. They are the $29 each tips you can get from Aliexpress. I can’t remember the exact size but they are oval tips that fit through our bumper just fine. They bolt on the Borla pipes so it moves the exhaust sound out beyond the end of the bumper. Size info is on the exhaust tip thread. Worked great for me. It’s still fairly loud in the car at certain times compared to stock, but as an enthusiast it’s totally fine and light footing it results in easily managing the noise when you want to. Very happy with it. Outside the Borla turns heads and sounds very aggressive.

Not today, but on Jan. 18th, I got my fire prevention recall work done! I also got an oil change. I took it in at 8:00 and they called me back at 10:00. They said my oil change was done but I would have to bring it back for the recall work, they didn't have the part! I had called in the Monday before and they said the part would be in Friday, so I said schedule me for Monday the 18th. After some harsh words from me, they apologized profusely and that was it. Two minutes later they called back and said they found the part (something about someone in parts calling in sick), and would get to work on it right away. Anyway, now I have that out of the way!

Shiny! But I'll stick with the matte; for the same reason that I love my laptop's matte finish: I don't like the window behind me blaring in my face; and I don't like seeing myself either.

It’s pretty close but depends on the amount of coats. I think after 3 wet coats, it starts to look like black, glossy satin. I have on 5 coats.

I like the sound, if you want loud, added about 12 horsepower and approximately 10 ft lb of torque I don't remember for sure, I had it on a Dino before and after HFC install, the new tailpipes really quieted down the noise level inside the cabin
