MY21 Aussie Release Date

I drove the new 4 cylinder about 10 days ago back from a holding yard to the pre delivery area of the dealership.....just helping them out.

So, what are your thoughts of 4 cylinder?

Once you’ve driven the 6, it’s as different as cheese and chalk.....a no brainer....you put your foot down and it’s like “when is all this going to happen?”

i just had a look and i think its the split screen option but all that does it turn off the clock/compass and replace it with a andriod auto logo. Do you have a pic of your filling the entire screen?

On mine, there is a little arrow and you just swipe it to go between full and split screen. Very easy.

Oh yeah I know that makes CarPlay split between map/music etc... but the MY21 stock comes with CarPlay being split with the Kia infotainment. Hard to explain if you haven’t seen it but you wouldn’t want it as you can basically have a compass, second clock etc taking up half the screen.

Just picked up my ceramic grey. Pretty hyped she’s very nice, pictures to follow. To make apple CarPlay full screen you need to amend this option pictured:

Can anyone else in Aus get the remote start working? I can't.. manual says hold the button... I do and SFA happens...cannot find any related vehicle setting in the menu.

Hi mate, beautiful car you got .
Don't unlock your car.
First press lock button ( round detonator on top) immediately after press and hold second button from the top (not counting round detonator) , keep holding until your car starts .
If you don't unlock your car after remote start it will run for 10 minutes and than turn it self off.
If you press unlock button after remote start and don't open the door to get in in next few seconds car will turn it self off as well.
Hope this will help .

Just going off my VF commodore, try pressing the lock button and then holding down the remote start

Maybe it's because your Apple, I'm using Android.

coming from my old car which was pretty much a loud racecar, the exhaust is really quiet. In smart,eco and comfort modes you barely even hear it and in sport you really only hear it when you have your foot down. Honestly i am going to get them to check that its working since its really quiet.

thats the exhaust idled but in the car you cant heard it at all.

I have a friend who works at a Kia dealer, he commented the new bi-modal exhaust in the MY21 is no where near as loud as the optional bi-modal which were fitted to MY20 and previous.
