Has anyone seen any Stingers in the wild?

I l
So Sasquatches are more common than Stingers where you live Demian. Holy cow.
I live in Burns, Oregon. The county is bigger than the state of Connecticut with about 3500 people. If cows start driving I'll likely see more Stingers- until the world starts traveling again I'm flying solo out here.

I, a passer through, can attest to that. :D You probably don't know my anecdotal story from July 10, 2018, coming back home from a visit with my relatives in Portland and Seattle. Through a fubar trying to negotiate from Hillsboro to I-84, I found myself southbound on I-5; took US20 through Burns and 78 to US95. Before I got to US95, I noticed that I literally had the highway to myself; so, the last bit of 78 and the long straight bits of US95 (c. half an hour, maybe a bit more) I "played" with my launch control and some high speed runs, all the way up to 155 MPH. It was the most fun I've had in the Stinger: and not a single vehicle either direction the whole time. Of course, even you would have found this amount of freedom from human presence unusual: and it was: south of my "playground", the traffic had been held back for some kind of roadwork. And sure thing, nobody behind me was going to catch up to me. Hah. :P

Ha, that was me! You have great taste, I didn't see you! :) Wife said one just like mine was parked next to her at Staters this weekend. Maybe that was you!?
No, that wouldn’t have been me. Are you the one that lives off of Murrieta road in Audie Murphy? There’s a few I’ve noticed in the area over the last couple years, but they’re rare sightings.

LOVE it. Yea.... there are some WOT roads out here. Per capita the cop population is high, just have to know where/when they hang out. My brother in law is a cop for the city. Says his Charger wouldn't be able to keep up. He warned me tho, anything over 100 and it's an automatic 90 day suspension and a HEFTY fine. (Gotta catch me first.) They never hang out on 78... Hwy 20 tho? You dodged one.

It's highway US 395. Drove down that road on road crew when I first moved up here. Thought they were leading me out to murder me and dump my body. There is NOTHING out there, but the actual road is terrible- like a semi-paved dirt road in lots of places. I work as operations manager for FedEx ground now. If you ever come thru again you gotta stop by!

No, I'm on the other side of the bridge by Staters. I looked at Stingers for 6 mo. and never saw one, but since getting mine, I've seen a Red one on Newport and one on the 215 on the way to work.

Not 20; the south end of 78 and the north end of US95 after the "T" intersection. I was on my best "under ten" behavior on US20. :D

Spotted a fellow stinger today on my way back home from downtown Nashville!

Saw a Stinger this afternoon chasing an Amazon truck (not really) on I-270 in St. Louis.

Kardinya shopping centre today. Rare yellow Stinger. This could have gone in the funny license plates thread too. Any ideas on what this plate means.

I had my 2018 GT2 for3 years and saw maybe ten other stingers during that three year period.
I got my new 2020 Snow white GT2 last month and already i must have seen ten Stingers!!
What happened people got smart and realized what a great value this car is?

In my first five months plus of ownership I saw not one. Now I see at least two a month. At the height of covid April was a bust. But August was the month packed with ten wild sightings. :D

The Fort Lauderdale area is getting packed with the Stinger brethren. I see at least two a day now. Today I saw a blue and a gray one while grabbing lunch. To the dude with the gray Stinger and the "I'd rather be sending it" plate, I appreciate you.

It also helps I convinced my roommate to get one so now we have a white and red in the drive way. Everywhere we go now we draw some sort of attention while driving or parking just from having two Stingers together.

Sunday I drove from Raleigh, NC to Baton Rouge/Lafayette, LA. Tuesday I drove back. 2,300 miles traveled through 6 states (including hitting Atlanta during the lunch rush hour Tuesday).

I did not see a single Stinger.

I did drive past the Hyundai and Kia assembly plants in GA, though, so I guess that was my consolation prize.

Spotted a GTS with dealer tags the other night. Judging by his driving style I think he may have traded an audi or BMW, since he was driving like a douche.

You'd think there would be some kind of courtesy, since we're on the same team, but nope, he still thought nothing of speeding up, to cut me off, to make an exit, instead of just falling in behind me and then exiting safely.
