yeah this is definately a thing, they werent sure of what was included until they read the ebulletin about the car which all dealers should have now.

Yeah I think its pretty clear all the dealers have been in the dark up to this point too.

I find it pretty surprising considering they have been taking orders and deposits on 21 models without really knowing what they are haha.

Not a demo and not registered and definitely a GT. Was told it only came in a few days ago. I asked about heated rear seats and there is no button to activate.

Very strange, just have to wait to see what i get in a few weeks lol

Has KIA instructed it's dealers to be vague or has it deliberately withheld information to clear old stock and ex corporate vehicles? Facelift models are on the road and also at dealerships so why the inconsistencies and lack of willingness to fully disclose "what's new".

Couldn't agree more. I think it's crazy that they have the car in the showroom yet nothing on the AU website.

It has blind spot cameras, they removed the blind spot DETECTION and replaced it with cameras that show up in the instrument cluster.

Area around base of screen is gloss black.

I'm referring to the plastic trim around the three circular air vents.

Spotted at Kia Dealership in Sydney. Definitely missing diamond quilted seats. Most new features are well known but quickly scanned the pdf ebulletin in the AU model - believe it said remote start. You can also select how high the tailgate will open up. Infotainment wasn't setup yet so couldn't get into any settings.

You can select how high the tailgate is when open on my model too. (2019)

Finally got around to ordering my new car - Ceramic Grey with Red Leather interior. I could have got black interior delivered this year but really wanted red. The dealer has no idea when I'll get delivery. He has told me to expect Feb/March but he'll be able to give me an better approximation next week. The wait is going to kill me

BTW, can confirm the new models come with Michellin Pilot Sport 4 tyres, 225/40/19 93Y on the front and 255/35/19 96Y on the rear.

Those ugly wheels though will be the first to go. Looking at Koya SF06 in staggered fitment. Thinking 19x8.5" on the front and 19x9.5" on the rear to get the concave look but don't know what offset to choose to get flush fitment. Colour choice is hard too. Any know of a reputable wheel dealer in Sydney that cares to give the customer the best fitment/colour instead of just trying to sell something in stock?

Nice. I’m going ceramic grey with black leather. I’m told mines ‘on the boat’ and due before end of Dec so hopefully the 15th too.

I’m running Koya SF04 Front 19 x 8.5” offset 32 & Rear 19 x 9.5” offset 38.
Try Autocraze they sell Koya, that’s where I got mine from, just make sure you are clear on the colour you want from Koya & to see a sample if possible.

Thanks for the info You car looks great - I had shortlisted the SF04 but leaning toward the SF06. What size tyres are you running?

Funny you mention Autocraze, went to see them earlier in the week and was not really impressed with their service. Pretty much told me to take a look at the Koya website colour options. I thought point of a showroom is to see actual wheels, colours, samples. Didn't seem like they really knew much apart from the standard colours. Didn't even take the rim out and put it against my car.

I was wanting something that matched the dark/tinted chrome of the side mirrors and trim. Can't pick between the GTR Grey, Ultra Black Chrome or Tinted Black. Figured I'll call Koya and ask them to send me a sample if they can (even if it costs me a bit of $ worth it to get the colour I want).

I ordered the same colour as yours with red interior ,I was told it was the only colour combination arriving mid December.. And I believed them

they have changed some of the buttons on the steering wheel. Favourite (star) and Lane Keep assist. Lane keep assist has also been upgraded so that it keeps the car closer to the centre of the lane.
