• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

MY21 Aussie Release Date

Sydney, NSW. Recently picked up a second hand Stinger GT in Ceramic Grey (and loving it) but really keen for a new 2021 one.
Give Great Western Kia @ Kingswood a call, they told me they are getting an a MY21 by the end of this month & 2 more are on the water due mid Decembe.
Also try Peter Warren Kia as well.

You may care to rethink that. Dealers are currently selling MY20 and MY21 but not MY21 facelift. Build dates from July 2020 are classified as MY21. I hope the deal you are getting at $63k is real and that Dealer doesn't come up with an excuse to reneg. I have to ask why a MY21 facelift with additional features would sell for less than current stock.
Also, as an FYI, Kia Corporate is currently unloading "company cars" through a number of dealerships. Some will be a good buy and well maintained, some will be damaged and repaired, some will have been used for track days and thrashed......buyer beware.

Its 100% the facelift version, dealers are getting the new bulletin for the facelift now and its in the system as 2021 Kia stinger PK. There is 2 different versions as you mentioned one is the 2021 stinger but not the facelift and the other one is the facelift version under the model PK. Ive seen people get the car for 62K in brisbane.

It’s perplexing they would bother with a 2021 non-facelift version unless it’s going to be significantly cheaper.

There’s a lot I prefer about pre-facelift but if they’re both out before the end of the year, who’s buying the non-facelift version... I’d need a price well into the 50’s

PK ? I was wondering about series number. The current is CK however we spotted this facelift yesterday which was only registered last week as a CK. Very confusing.

Why have they decided to keep the KIA logo in the rear instead of the Stinger script is beyond me...

but nice to see actual facelift reaching ground other than Korea!

Are there any more photos of the interior? Do you have a link please?
Don't have any other photos. Do a search on YouTube and you'll see more details, however what we get in Aus is likely to differ with seat trim.

I've seen all the international pictures and videos - I'm wondering exactly what additional features will come to Oz and what our seats will look like. I'm disappointed that the GT is getting different (uglier) wheels.

We are not getting the full quilted seats, they are like half quilted on the sides and have improved stitching running horizontally across the seats.

Ah, now I understand - I thought those photos were off carsales.com.au or something. I didn't realise you took them in person!

Spotted at Kia Dealership in Sydney. Definitely missing diamond quilted seats. Most new features are well known but quickly scanned the pdf ebulletin in the AU model - believe it said remote start. You can also select how high the tailgate will open up. Infotainment wasn't setup yet so couldn't get into any settings.

Correct, the facelift comes with remote start. Three press of the unlock/lock button to start the car remotely.

Those seats look better than the quilted IMO. Much more subtle.

Wheels such a downgrade though...

Looks like blind spot detection button has been deleted.ABE4B901-3686-4795-853B-6764815AADB3.webp

Good spot with the blind spot button. I've accidently turned mine off when filling up, so I think the deletion is a wise move.

I wonder if the facelift has blind spot cameras? KIA Australia said the facelift gets new safety features but didn’t give any detail.

P.s., I hate the new wheels too!
