im paying cash so i hope 60-62K lol but we will see. didnt ask about the dark/black pack.

Was thinking the same. I’m unofficially working off 64k drive away less a half reasonable trade in price offered.

Dealer very hesitant with info though. The MY21 is definitely the facelift in Australia isnt it? I know that’s what the press suggests, but dealer has never actually confirmed it.

yeah thats drive away, im hoping they are desperate for sales and a all cash buy is pretty rare as most people do finance.

So spoke to my kia dealer today and i can finally order the 2021 facelift in ceramic grey with red leather, find out the price tomorrow when i official order it. Pickup seems to be around mid January atm

To be honest, I got mine for 50.5k (dealer demo) including taxes. Had done 1800km - definitely possible! Searched for 4 months daily but was worth it for the saving.

As far as I can tell there is no carryover 21 model like in the US. All MY21 in Aus is the facelift. Has everyone else heard the same?

I think you are right, but Kia Dealer had to do a double check at first because cars he was seeing on the system thinking they were MY21 were still the pre facelift model... But perhaps that was just human error more than anything... And this was the same guy who told me red leather won't happen in the MY21... which happily seems to be misproven at this point.

I am eagerly awaiting @Reldas result with his order.

From further reading it seems likely the Black pack will be North America only... But the Dark Pack (black badging and exhaust tips etc) will be available in most markets.

Yeah I kinda got the same feedback from the dealer a while ago. He seemed unsure if MY21 was facelift or not, really confusing..

Sounds like Kia have kept everyone out of the loop honestly, even their own dealers. That was weeks ago though.

Thankyou, that’s a relief. I wasn’t going to buy a 21 pre-facelift haha. Although there are some pre-facelift features I like better.

I’ll report back here if I hear anything more about timing etc.

I agree re: the wheels.
I also like the new taillight assembly that will be fully lit all the way across, but I’m not a fan of the quilted seats but I leave my final judgement on the seats when I actually see them.

Actually yeah... The quilted seats not my favourite but I can live with it.

Yeah so I think the MY20 wheels are much better. I actually like the taillights of the MY20 also due to the ‘halo’ look (aside from the strip across whole way in MY21 looking great).

Im undecided on the quilted seats, they could grow on me and perhaps looks great in person. Love the bigger infotainment system but from what I could see the larger exhaust tips show the small black exhaust inside which I don’t love.

Frankly I think both look awesome, and would be happy buying either.

It is here in NZ, all facelift only. Only a handful left of MY20 available but like most, have ordered and waiting for the MY21 model, due here in January. Still waiting on pricing, specs, etc.
