60ft is all torque and traction. I run around with a 1100hp f150 that runs 8.19 in the quarter that 60fts at 1.80s because he can't put the power down. A good long burn out and good track prep helps a lot. The hellcat next to me 60ft in the 1.40s as well. I asked when I got my timeslip if they had a problem and they said no. The 1.88 60ft was less boost off the line , that was my first launch with the brake snip. The curious thing about this is that I found a number of 8 second cars that have slower 60 foot times than you. Your car definitely seemed to hook up but I still don’t understand how a RWD 3800 pound car can get that kind of traction with normal tires like that.
It seems impossible but I definitely am all ears to find out how you did it.
Is it possible that the timing system at the track malfunctioned?
This is an example of an 8 second car doing a 1.55 second 60 foot.

Same night, just more boost on the launch. The 1.88 was the first time I had launch with the brake snip.I didn't think to look that far back. Your other run from February 28th had a 1.88 60ft and 12.10 1/4. What changes did you make between those two runs?
Yea, that is amazing. I still don’t know how you are putting all that torque down through the rear wheels with semi normal tires. However, whatever you did really seems to work.60ft is all torque and traction. I run around with a 1100hp f150 that runs 8.19 in the quarter that 60fts at 1.80s because he can't put the power down. I'm gonna try a 50 shot of nitrous to see if it will get lower 11s. Been looking for a spare ecu to send to tork to get the back end flash. He said it would cut 2 or 3 tenths off the quarter mile time. Would like to see 120mph or more in the quarter also.
Any chance you could post the full slip?Same night, just more boost on the launch. The 1.88 was the first time I had launch with the brake snip.

The picture is all I have, that was done in February of this year. When I get home I can look and see if I still have it, they fade quickly.Sorry. I was actually inquiring about the other one... against the Hellcat.
How are you doing such a good burnout. I have the brake snip and even with traction control off or traction control and stability control off my throttle cuts out after a few seconds. And I did the brake switch, with that I can leave on boost.
I roll through the water box, put it in manual mode 2nd gear, lean on it till it starts to spin then grab 3rd till 5,000rpms, hit 4th and roll out.How are you doing such a good burnout. I'll give it a try, thanks!I roll through the water box, put it in manual mode 2nd gear, lean on it till it starts to spin then grab 3rd till 5,000rpms, hit 4th and roll out.

What happens if you lean on it in first gear? Just curious why you start in second gear. Just trying to learn more about burnouts and how to get better RWD traction.I roll through the water box, put it in manual mode 2nd gear, lean on it till it starts to spin then grab 3rd till 5,000rpms, hit 4th and roll out.
In 1st once the wheels start to spin, it likes to hit the rev limiter and kill power. Plus 2nd gives you more wheel speed to start and its easier to load the engine in a higher gear . Kinda like if you use launch control and the tires break loose , it runs up so fast it doesn't shift and it cuts power. What happens if you lean on it in first gear?
