What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

I did my first few hard pulls in MAP 3 with E30, WOW!

Installed Stoptech Performance Ceramic Front Brake pads. Car has only 125 miles lol. I don’t want to get through the dreaded brake problems. Still waiting for my rear brake pads.

Decided to see how my DIY color matched engine cover came out before choosing to go professional. NgiVanity plate covers are in progress as well. Some minor paint spread from the tape but oh well!

Gee. Aren't the rest of you special.

I've noticed "not syncing" in the upper right corner; clicked on it; followed all directions to "verify" my existence on Microsoft Planet; and still, nothing doing. They can go *bleep* themselves. :alien:

Got my windows tinted, pushing MD legal, 30% It sure looks great! The new wheel centers look fantastic also. A nice E so many now ask me what kind of car is that? The front badge is a nice E also. Did the interior exchanges on Saturday, door strikes, door catcher plate, steering wheel emblem. Think I am done for a bit now. Oh and also added the BMS air filters. The dealer coated the car with a penetrating paint coating, mequire, it does not show dirt, even rain splash, nothing seems to stick to it. I went to wash it and there was no reason to. 20200810_085438.webp20200810_085507.webp

That sucks! Which one did you visit? So I know to avoid.
I normally go to the Johns creek one. But I went to the newer Windward/Alpharetta one since it’s closer.

I’m more pissed they didn’t tell me. It’s not the end of the world. I’ll cover it with paint. But when I showed the manager, the first thing he said “are you sure it wasn’t there before...”. What an ass hat. My car is pristine. I know every flaw. Is it possible it happened in the 7 mile drive from my house to the store.... sure. But incredibly unlikely. I’m pointing it out (not demanding repair) to highlight incompetence. Don’t treat me like a moron. Whoever did the work sure as shit knew they did it when it happened. In Houston, they fully mangled some 20” enkei’s I had too. They scratched them up so bad they replaced 2.

I’ll just have to go to a performance shop from now on (even for basic tire mounting/balancing).

Lame.

I've been doing that for the last year and a half. Heh. The same guys that powder coated my wheels also swap wheels twice a year.

Should I be tipping them? They don't charge to swap wheels and put air in. I've given them all my wheels and tires business for that year and a half. But I wonder if tipping guys who don't otherwise charge is expected. I'm into tipping for services rendered; but, I also don't want to start something. :P
