Since it is July now, I visited the Official Kia Motors Navigation Update Website and for the first time I can remember did not get the "Grand Opening" popup. I could not download anything but maybe they are getting ready to drop some files on us.
I don't see any changes on the MapCare site ...

I've contacted Mapnsoft repeatedly about the new map update removing Climate Settings, but they just continue to repeat to look for the settings in "Setup>Vehicle>Climate". I think they are reading from a script. I have sent them pictures and video showing them that the settings no longer exist.
I'm going to give them another week and then contact Kia directly.
Anyone else gotten any answers about it, or even just acknowledgement of it being a known problem?

I have a case open with Mapnsoft and followed up with them yesterday. I also sent them videos of the missing climate menu. The man I spoke with said there was a low priority on my case. He bumped the priority to high and escalated the case.
I’ll wait a few days and see what they come back with.

That kind of indifference I find amazing. I've worked as an analyst in the software field for years - when we unexpectedly break something in a new release (and it happens), it becomes an immediate priority to issue a patch just as fast as it can be written and tested.
It's not like this is a new 'enhancement' or feature change that is just not universally popular - they broke the access to the climate control settings. You just don't see reputable software companies saying 'we'll get around to it eventually' when it's pointed out to them that they just broke something that worked perfectly well up until their latest release.
This really points to a poorly organized/managed or woefully understaffed development/QA team. On the car function side, this isn't a million line software behemoth with thousands of features and functions - it's a relatively simple and limited number of page based options. Seriously, how long would it take someone to simply go through each page before final release, and verify that the options on their design map were present and functioning as intended? An hour?

I ordered SD card version and installed, but now the Address icon has disappeared from the menu. POI, places etc are still there but Address to input address is no longer available. This is not good

I think I also experienced this, too. Once I placed the car back into Park, I was able to enter an address. Very inconvenient.

It is in Park, but that's a thought, maybe take it out and then put it back, I'll try, Thanks

Legally you can't enter an address while driving. Use voice commands.

I'm on v14 and I'm not able to input addresses if I'm not in park. A prompt comes up telling me to use voice commands or park. It's a safety thing and I don't mind it since I do use voice commands most of the time anyway.

My address icon disappeared, I can still use POI, and the other icons, the whole address icon just went "
poof" with upgrade

To me it looks like the Address Icon was replaced by the Places icon. I actually find this more convenient as I can enter a POI, name, or address in the Places menu. Seems to be easier to use.

Tried that, doesn't take an address, just goes into endless search

This is interesting. I noticed that the SW/Firmware version does not look like mine: "CK19..." Yours is just "CK."
How did you receive the update? Did you order the SD Card from the Mapnsoft.com website? I have an existing case open and keep calling to get a status and they have no status. I'm thinking if you ordered the SD card from them recently, I'll call them back and ask that they send me a new SD card.
