Australia Bi-Modal Exhaust Updates

As far as I'm aware the old bimodal which I have is plugged in the front fuse box on the driver's side.
The new one is plugged into the rear fuse box located in your car's boot.
Yes this is correct. My MY20 which has the new Bimodal has the exhaust plugged into the rear fuse box

That's great. Just what I needed to know. Thanks.

Pull the fuse tap for a new experience. :)

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Thanks Shannon.. my next question... when to pull it.. Whilst engine going? Engine off? Is it in fully open mode by default.. or closed?
Before start up and it will be fully open......and loud!
Edit....this was incorrect. Disconnect fuse with engine running.

mmmmmmmmmmmm, loud cold start , thats Horny !!
Thats where my problem is.. i can see the flap valve, if taking the fuse out... flap valve in closed... Fuse in.. flap valve in closed.. it is making no difference (at idle) whichever sequence i do.. understanding MY20? any suggestions

I'd be going back to dealer. Probably no power to either actuator so I'm suspecting incorrectly wired. Or, from the picture you posted the fuse appears to be on an angle so may not be making a clean contact.

So can you tell that your flap valves are open when car is off?

Maybe a different system.. cause this is mine when the Car is either off or at Idle
No, same system but I hadn't looked that far up the exhaust before and I now see the flap. I did a few tests....
Cold start and sounds loud (normal) but unable to get a good look at flap because of fumes...cough, cough. Shutdown and disconnect fuse and restart....sounds the same.
Go for a drive and get everything up to normal operating temps....not hard today as OAT is 29°. Shutdown, disconnect fuse, restart and drive.....exhaust is very quiet.
Reconnect fuse, startup and drive...exhaust is back to normal. Disconnect fuse whilst engine running, drive ...... exhaust is excessively loud particularly in Sport mode......shutdown and inspect flap and it's fully open.

Yeah that's a bit hard for me... Hard to climb in the boot while driving :-)

Engine start, open boot, pull fuse.
Have you tried swapping light green fuse from the right of tap to where it is now?
If it still doesn't work then I believe there's an issue with connection to flap actuators so it's a trip back to dealer.

The Wire has power.. and tried all that.. the only thing I hadn't is disconnect in Sport mode while driving.. that's impossible

Mode shouldn't make a difference to functionally. Back to Dealer. I'm really curious to learn what's happened.

Has anyone managed to "modify the wiring" to enable one to Switch the fuse on/off" at will? curious as to if this can be done?

Yeah, even have a wireless remote to turn it on or off at will. I wired mine up so that there is no fuse and it’s loud all the time. When I want to go back to “stock” and have the active bi-modal working, I just hit the remote! Works very well.
