Are those the 19" wheels that the Stinger comes with down there?

My 18s look just like the 19s I've seen. Those above I've never seen before, that's why I asked.

Right but he has a 2.0l base model I believe , thats what his sig says ?

I haven't looked at the base model wheel options, but there are two 18" wheel options shown on the Kia web page if you go through the Build.

Great tires! Have the same ones (19") and very happy with their wet/snow/dry traction.

Nice! I'd totally swap out the silver bits for the smoked chrome ones but for the fact the door handles are also silver on the base model, and I've no idea how I'd deal with that. Mixing the 2 would look off, IMHO. But in your case that looks sweet! Are you going to be updating the grilles to match? And how is the road noise with the Michelins compared to the Bridgestone? I don't doubt they walk all over the factory rubber, but in my old age, I actually appreciate a quiet cabin, in terms of road noise, anyway ;)

I have a 2.0 Premium; comes with these 18" wheels:

Yes, I agree; the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ are excellent tires! Huge improvement over the OEM tires (Bridgestone Potenza RE97AS-02). Traction, handling and ride are all clearly improved. Braking seems good, but since I'm still babying the car during break-in, haven't tried any hard stops.

@Rufus, I'm with ya about the silver door handles and grill frame. I'm thinking about doing a black vinyl wrap on 'em. Also lusting after a black script Stinger emblem to replace the KIA badge on the tailgate.

The Michelins seem to be significantly better in every way. They are very quiet in almost all conditions. I did get a fair amount of road noise at 60 MPH on very rough, worn freeway. But bad roads like that are probably going to be loud with almost any tire. Haven't driven the Michelins in snow yet, but all the reviews I've seen indicate they're great for that too.

Really enjoying my new Stinger!

Yesterday I drove my Stinger in the snow...so today I plan to give her a good wipedown with this Meguiars detailing spray I got. Maybe tomorrow will be the first car wash. I know I know, swirl marks...though they shouldn't show up too badly on micro blue. Plus, what choice do I have to keep the car clean during a NJ winter??

NOOOOOO ! the detailing spray is for AFTER you wash , if you use it to clean you'll just grind the dirt into the car . Better to leave it dirty or give a good spray down ..............:)
