What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?


I'll go for a ride later on today and take a few shots for you.
 
Put on new ARK cat-less secondaries today. The sound is so good now! Definitely deeper tone and more turbo noises.

Nice, thanks! Do like the dark handles, though I think I'd better steer clear of CF finish as I haven't any now and once you get started, the numbers add up...wonder if you could get "black chrome" or close to go with the OEM trim.

Yes it's starting to add up. I'm waiting on ADRO from Korea to ship their CF hood and trunk lid/spoiler but the obvious delays are making things a little difficult. Black chrome would look awesome and be probably 1/3 the cost...I'm a big fan of the white with hits of black trim :thumbup:

I was kind of thinking a rear splitter, maybe, and be done. But there's always something...

I would as well but it's the one piece I'm avoiding because I have the Borla CF tips installed and it took too much custom fab to stock diffuser to align perfectly (long story but Borla rushed production on these). I might hold off for right now on the CF and focus on rims/tires/springs, it's a must :D

Indeed. Springs were the third mod after JB4 and intakes, and talk about night and day... just be ready for how low it places the body trim. I can just barely squeeze my floor jack under the rockers. And see my recent post on the joys of catching the front on something. Expensive? Yep. PITA? Yep. And totally worth it.

What offsets did you go with for those wheels? I also went with 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 (but they haven't arrived yet), so I am just curious!
19x8.5 ET30 and 19x9.5 ET40, I think. I actually ordered 45 for the rears, but they showed up as 40 and I figured it was worth a shot. Worked out, happily. Clearance is very snug on the rear wheel wells, but no rubbing that I can discern.

Ah gotcha. I went with +35 for both. Seems like +35 in the rear should be better than +40, gives more clearance for wheel wells? Any fitment issues with the +30 in the front?

Plenty room in the front. Fine on calipers as well.

Finally installed my new vanity cover after a good bath.

HPS CAI installed. BOVs vented to atmosphere. Sounds freakin' awesome :cool:

A little bit of oil in the driver's side turbo, passenger was dry. Waiting on mu OCC's to arrive :thumbup:
