PRESSERtech Kia Stinger GT Dyno RESULTS!!

Just shipped the ECU out with a list of all the Mods that I got through the performance shop here , which is what they tuned it too I presume, but perhaps something small got missing along the way , but tuned on a Dyno that would have got things solved perhaps

So this shop you took your car to get this tune applied, they didn't get you before and after dyno results?

Not trying to beat a dead horse here bud, but... the ECU's are not something that is easy to tune. I have been working on Stage 2 for 12 + months because I need to get testing and verification done before I release a tune that causes massive issues.

Nothing against Pressertech, or any tuner (other than a piggy backs). But... this car/ECU is a total pain in the ass to keep from triggering safe mode and limp conditions.

I hope they can get you some dyno results with the Stage 2, would be nice to see some good results from another tuner.

Why dont you try the G70 community. Toddasaurus has been trying to get in touch with you repeatedly with no reply. We are ignored over there and have to come here for info.

I will do that, and I apologize for ignoring anyone, but I am on the forums about every 4 months.

When Matt gets back into the office, I will make sure he heads over there and makes a post.

Do you have any forum in particular that we should be posting on? I would love to get the G70 community some good info, and get you guys tuned.

I think something got lost in the communication there , just to clarify things my primary cats are on , only the secondary cats have been removed, but there a connection between the Jun BL and connected to the Borla, I will get this sorted out some how

I'm telling you, there is something else going on with your car... No way should you be overboosting with those mods! I look forward to hearing about what PRESSERTech ends up doing for you.

Well in the mean time I will have to run as I am , and when the weather clears up see if I can get a real Dyno tune to clear this little issue up and make a appointment with John to do a Dyno tune revision if that is ok at TORK (John)

The ECU was shipped out to be tuned and they do have a Dyno , but too far away 3 hours times difference lol , the one here does all my upgrades does not have the tuning software that can tune the Stinger , but they use a DynoCom to tune cars in , but do not have the things to tune a Korean ECU , they tune lots Japanese and Euro car s , Classified Motorsports here in Kelowna BC /)

I added honeycomb resonators to my midpipes, I had a bit of drone, did not want cats back so added these and perfect.

I may have to add resonators as well just to get a bit more back pressure if this tune revision doesn’t work for me

Resonators don't add back pressure, they are straight through. Just need the tune fixed.

Arnie...You need to stop speculating and get logs. Let me be clear : SECONDARY DPS WILL NOT CAUSE YOU TO OVERBOOST! More than likely you are hitting fuel cut due to cold air density, and HPFP not keeping up and ECU going into save your ass mode. But no one can appropriately help you without logs.

Resonators don't add back pressure, they are straight through. Just need the tune fixed.

They have sent out a retune for me , so I hope it fixes it , and it is in transit now heading for me

Secondary cat deletes don't make you faster so i wouldnt bother unless you want the sound. But additional risk of over boost is very low and can be addressed.

I know they don't do much for a stock car. I wonder how they will work with my Pressertech tune.
