PRESSERtech Kia Stinger GT Dyno RESULTS!!

@TorkMe really? That doesn't sound like a John statement. He may have said that to get around piggy back issues but he would say with a "proper tune" you can go totally catless. :)
When did you talk to John about this? He has no idea what you are talking about.
This was when I was waiting for him to do his stage 2 and I had the same problem using my piggy back , and told me to put my secondary cats back on :)

He misunderstood. He was thinking Primaries. no reason to put secondaries back on to fix and over boost issue.
Has anyone used this 19 psi tune with combo of jun Bls and Borla type s cat back exhaust :)

Im sure they have. The secondary downpipes are all the same and the exhaust are for the most part as well.
When I had the only the Borla and no down pipes with my secondary Cats still on no problems, the secondary cats Off ,I had troubles with stronger PSI maps and John advised me to use a lower map which I on my Race chip and it solved the problem, just less power and no limp mode lol

Arnie, I think something was lost in translation in our conversations.

If you were getting an overboost code, I would have said to put the primary downpipes back on, not the secondary's.

Given that you were running a piggy back, I could have said to do anything, because I really have no idea what or how piggy backs work with the Stinger ECU.

Now that you are running a tune, a tune shouldn't trigger any overboost codes... but I am willing to bet that its triggering a turbo overspeed condition. Every tune I have seen to date, has had the turbo overspeed maps written in the wrong spot. If the car just shuts off, and recovers right after that, that can only be 3 things. Air flow limits, turbo speed, fuel correction.

If you have to key cycle the ignition to get the car back to full power, then you have a critical code being set, that needs to be addressed.

I have to ask, why did you choose this company to tune your car? I have to assume its because I am an ass, but... would really like to know the reason.

Lol assbut :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:
Sorry. Not sorry lol that's funny. Anyways back on topic, since my car came with the pressertech stage 2 tune am I automatically a Tork hater?

I would have told him to remove the piggy back first, lol.

This may also be when I was actually trying to help people without getting slain on the forums for doing good deeds :)

@TorkMe , you give yourself too much credit, lol. It might not have been about you at all...

That being said, I suspect you are simply normal. Intellectually intelligent people often lack the elevated emotional intelligence that helps them succeed with building strong interpersonal relationships....

I don't know... are you a Tork hater? I can deal with the fact that I am not liked by this community, but I am not trying to sell freindships... I am selling results. Sadly, I am missing this whole "be your friend and buy my parts" way of doing business these days :)

I had the speed shop here John set things up after I had a gave them a list of possibilities and so I left things in their Hand for the most as the tuning goes and said if possible To get a stage 2 tune for all my mods, yes many have options on different tuning shop s and this shop was tuning most all high end cars , but if the weather here wasn’t so dam crazy this winter here and Tim said you were only just 6 hrs from me I would tried to get down , so I will see how things go here but it suck S to have the exact problem as I did before when I was talking to you about over boost, and I was Running the piggy back then so I took your advice and got a lower PSI map for my Chip and it was less power but no limp mode , still wanted a tune which leave where I am now :)

Did you get any dyno results from this Stage 2 Tune? Did they put the car on the dyno before and after? I have about a dozen questions, but now that you have told me how the other shop was making decisions for you, I hope they did the due diligence and put the car on the dyno.

My only choice is too slow down the exhaust flow by possibly put the 2 cats back on :(
Half or more Jb4 cars and most Tork tuned cars don't have secondary Cats. No Primary cats is more tricky but secondary cat removal is very basic. If Stage 2 can't handle secondary cats removed I'd be looking for a refund if they can't address it.

We have EWG control active in the JB4. If anyone with a JB4 has 'over boosting' issues fully catless still drop me a note and we'll get you sorted.

Just shipped the ECU out with a list of all the Mods that I got through the performance shop here , which is what they tuned it too I presume, but perhaps something small got missing along the way , but tuned on a Dyno that would have got things solved perhaps:)

Why dont you try the G70 community. Toddasaurus has been trying to get in touch with you repeatedly with no reply. We are ignored over there and have to come here for info.
