Has anyone seen any Stingers in the wild?

Thought my profile pic would be a giveaway, but I went ahead and updated. :)
Oh, yeah. I saw that, but there isn't enough of your car showing, so I didn't make the connection; and you know how people get clever with placing "Stinger" script any old place.:)

3:00pm silky silver followed me along Minnesota Road Hamlyn Terrace, then along the Pacific Hwy Wadalba until it turned off into McDonald’s.

Thursday the long return trip to the beach last time it harvested 4 Stingers and it looked like a lot more but not to be. This time meagre pickings 1 Silky silver Barrenjoey Rd , Mona vale at 3.27pm. Most surprised.

Ok hunker down folks.

Things looked a bit awkward there for awhile as my wife made Ace, not to worry 16 minutes later I joined her. The taste of lemon immediately diminishing.

A trip from western Sydney North to the Central coast the nav advised 2.15 hours to Terrigal. I was to encroach deep in the heart of @Coast GT country for a smash a grab. The following were harvested by Pilot and Navigator. On the way back a bandit weaved his way through on my 6.00 to my 9.00 o'clock. The window went down on the black Merc Gla45 with the crackle and pop exhaust , an early twentys fresh faced man says he's tried to catch up and exclaimed "Nice car and like the exhaust" I then proceeded to show the wares and virtues of said Stunger. ......Anyway I digress.

1) white Gt line M7 Rooty hill 11.41am . Caught up to her and throttled back not a blink of an eyelid I said to the wife what's doin' she replied nothin' the driver appears to be what you would call a fat toad she says:laugh:.
2) Micro blue South bound F1 Windang heading south. 12.17pm
3) Silky silver parked At Brooklyn where we stopped for coffee 0106-0140.20200110_140930.webp
4) Ceramic grey East Gosford 5.41pm * This was seen only by the wife over her shoulder in a side street.
5) White F1 approaching the Peats ridge turn off South bound. They turned off before i could engage. 5.57pm
6) Ceramic silver F1 Brooklyn heading North 6.13.

A good day with double scoops of ice cream, fish and chips, 2kg of prawns and 1 dozen oysters consumed.

Later that night a world record meet at Olympic park Sydney 21 Non wild Stingers assembled what a sight. Verification can be had by members @ShannonC and @Stinger GT SS . But that's for another thread.

Bravo!! Now that is how you write a sighting! The only thing missing was someone using a helicopter and the fine lady who was in distress and needed a quick getaway[

We’re you in my neck of the woods Thursday or Friday? I saw a dcb Stinger on Thursday that I posted. Wasn’t you was it?

Oh and it’s the M1, not F1. Used to be called F3 before they renamed it.

About 9:40am today a deep chroma blue on Wells Street Springfield, heading towards Gosford. About 2:30pm a black GT on Brisbane Water Drive, Koolewong, heading towards Woy Woy.
Seems to be more stingers getting around on the Coast lately.

Today a Micro Blue Stinger on the Great Ocean Road, passing our little convoy of six Stingers,(opposite side ) had NSW's plates, he acknowledged us all with a wave and flashing of lights ( I expect he would have been very surprised ) as was a HCR Stinger we all passed at approximately 3pm as we were leaving Forest to go on to Moriac. He too gave a friendly wave and was acknowledged back :)

Guess it wasn’t you then. You should’ve taken the Pacific Hwy back from Somersby to Hornsby rather than the M1. You wouldn’t have had all those sightings, but would’ve enjoyed all the twists and turns though.

Yes I went for glory rather than pleasure, it seems a bigger deal to me than others judging by the silence here . But at least it keeps my home body missus entertained. I'm confident Coast that stretch you travel that you too with a co pilot can rack up those numbers. F3 looks to be happy hunting ground. I find the white and silkys damn hard to spot they blend in. The reds and blues the eye is easily drawn to.

One tip I learned altitude is key and swooping with the Sun behind you.:D...:rofl:

Sorry not F3 but M1.

They're still getting notice and I assume they haven't sold as many as they wanted ? or does anyone know if they've done well and sold all that they made very well ?
I got mine this past Dec. and some dealerships still have from 1-2 GT/GT Limited left by this time line. More had the 2.0L,,
Most didn't have any 19's left and the 2020's were already in as well mostly everywhere.
I got over $3K off in Canada and zero % interest !!

Side note, i'm just outside Toronto, Canada, with very high population, and I only seen a few so far.
But when I do see one, I wave to them. Trying to get the Stinger respect groupy thing going. Anyone else start waving to fellow Stingers ?

Not consistently. If I catch their eye I wave and they wave. Most of the time, I think it's just return gawking in the mirrors and suchlike.

It seems like I spotted one daily... teasing me before I got mine... since then not a single one! If I see one I'll wave
