Has anyone seen any Stingers in the wild?

It was 09.19am, I can see out the front security door while having breakfast, out the corner of my eye, I see the rear corner of a bright red car, I don't know what it was that made me want to get up and take another look, but when I did, it was a Hi Chroma red Stinger GT, don't know if it could of been @EnjoyStinger1969 , as he lives like 10 minutes from me, but I have seen a red Stinger drive down that road a handful of times now, so I am presuming it's always been the same one.

Considering we have 10233 (worldwide, so maybe 8K or so NA?) vs 33K NA sales, I wouldn't be surprised if only a couple were actually someone from the forum.

It was 10.36am, I was driving on Mickleham Rd , Tullamarine and I spotted this black Stinger GT , it was abit difficult to take a photo while driving, this is all I got, with my finger as welll....



Then about 11.20am I was maybe 100m from the car wash in my Stinger, and a Ceramic Grey almost pulls in front of me out from a side street, I honked at him as I drove by in front of him, I'm sure he did also, then as I was drying the car, an owner of a black VE Maloo Ute, walks over and starts asking me about my Stinger, he needs something more practical, for a baby seat, but he asked how it goes, he heard the Stinger goes hard and very quick, I said " Yes "

You didn't have your headlights on. Tried to get your attention but maybe you thought I was just saying hi.
Hope nobody sideswiped you, black cars are nigh invisible at night without headlights.

Someone did recognize a photo I took as theirs and they replied with a photo they took with our cars next to each other.

Yes, but not identical; one is ceramic the other is silky. Mine was cleaner.

This morning a facebook member of Kia Stinger Owners Club of Australia/NZ, whom works close to where I live, visited the local shops near my house, he parked next to a Deep Chroma Blue Stinger GT, he put up a post asking if it was me, it wasn't, I literally live 5 minutes walk away, but i missed him, the blue Stinger was still there.



While I was out for a walk a Micro Blue Stinger GT drives past me at 20.15, and instead of trying to take a quick shot, I just stared at it , probably with my mouth open and tongue hanging out.. as if I have never seen one before so in the last 4 days I have spotted 5 Stingers, and all within a couple of kilometres from home, a Hi Chroma Red, Aurora black, Ceramic Grey, Deep Chroma Blue and Micro Blue.

Today driving south on Don Mill, a Blue Stinger (colour I preferred and love), was trying to get in front of me, put signals then turned off, as the space was a bit tight an he was going to proceed, then he noticed I eased off to allow him room.. He took the space and waived thx, I waive back.
When I had to pass him on the right , he gave me a thumbs up and I waived again..

No pics. I love your blue colour.. I got red cause No blue left for 19 models and 20 models were $50 more per month... I took the deal on the Awesome Red one.... also like the white w/red interior, also none left.

In Canada, we don't get the colour options U.S. gets. No Blue w/white or red seats... either black seats or red, but only in the black, white grey ext. colours.

Yesterday at 5.40pm as I was entering a certain car park at Pyrmont a Silky Silver was exiting. Seen it there a number of times but still haven't managed to spot the driver. Hope you had a win!

Taking photos of other Stingers is probably stalking too I also look out for funny plates so Iv'e become a seasoned Stalker since I joined this Forum
