Absolutely!
I actually just had our core on the scale and it weighs in at 26 pounds, with the stock unit coming in at just under 10
That's a great question! We haven't test fit our kit on a
G70 yet, but that is something that our market research department is on. I know that they share or at least have quite a few similar parts on the front end. I'll definitely be sure to let you guys know once we confirm the fitment
We are offering in the full kit only, this way you'll be getting the best performance from the upgraded system. Plus with the larger outlet on our merge pipe, IF you decide to keep the stock piece, you'll need to get created with couplers. Wouldn't want you to have any boost leaks
Just some food for thought if weight is whats on your mind (and for the record, we haven't got the weight of the plastic merge pipe yet), Dan and I just did a small weight comparison with the factory collector and ours, and the weight savings there was 2 ounces at the expense of increasing airflow through the system. The factory piece is 3lb 14oz, and ours is 4lbs even. If we can get our hands on one of the updated pieces I'll make sure to get a quick weight spec on that too, but I would venture to guess that it's going to be about the same weight
The main weight difference would be in the intercooler itself, but in the grand scheme of the 4100 pounds that is the Stinger GT, the added 16 pounds isn't going to cause any noticeable differences in the handling of the car
I can help you out with this right now actually, here's the comparison with the aluminum merge section from our Stinger:
Granted this is compared with the aluminum collector, but there shouldn't be any difference in the size of the opening there.
Thanks for the input guys!
We should have some numbers from our dyno here shortly too!
Thanks guys!
