Kia Stinger face lift

Nice grab !

This is the third one, at least, in as many months, and we don't get anything revealing this time either. At least there IS a facelift coming.

Let's hope they don't go crazy and decide they need to update the look to match the new "family" design like Hyundai has been doing. Hyundai has been making some of their facelifts like a whole new model. I do think they should tighten up the chassis and suspension to make the car even better and offer a sportier version for those folks looking to smoke everything they see. I would take a 2.5T with a hybrid system. I'm sure the digital IP and larger infotainment screen will be included in the update, along with the bar on the trunk being lighted now.

From what I read there is a mention of the tail lights being "Connected" .Take of that what you will.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
looking forward to more information.

Thanks for sharing.

Another “face lift” speculation article without a shot of the face of the car.:cautious::confused:
I’m going to assume that not much will change. The sales numbers don’t justify the investment of large tooling. Connecting the brake lights seems too Charger-like.

Go for the 10” infotainment screen, maybe some more suspension options, or some slight tweaks to the front fascia (head/fog lights, bumper /grille).

So the K5/Optima got an update although Kia have already said the Optima is no more for the Australian market. It appears to have all the features the Stinger should’ve had when it was released as a flagship model but didn’t. The bigger infotainment screen is something the Stinger should’ve had from day 1.

2017 VS 2020, Stinger was up to date when it first came out.

That's some pretty cool lighting back and front.
I wonder if that sunroof rattles.

If the Optima is no longer coming to Australia, they must be releasing a second generation Stinger otherwise Kia wouldn't have a vehicle in the medium/large passenger class in this country. You would think this unless they were only concerned with SUVs.

Note the tail lights of both cars, looks like the brake light may go full width in the next model update/release.

I love the aggressive DRLs and rear lights on the new Optima. Kia designers are crushing it right now.
I would LOVE to see that dash and infotainment in the Stinger. Luckily it looks like the control layout is very similar location wise to ours. Maybe it will come in a MY21-22 refresh.

Wow - nice find. Not sure how I feel about these tail lights... we'll see.

I still don’t get the SUV thing, so many good cars right now, some even have more space then the small SUV’s that people are buying.

It’s one of those cars they just have to be careful with but, KIA has been doing good with their designs.

I wonder if they will drop the side reflector. Can't wait to see the reveal on this.
