Terry, I just added the Fuel-it with JB4 integration. Do you know why there is a 3-4 difference between the JB4 app and Fuel-It app (i.e. E22 on JB4 and E26 on Fuel-it)? Do I take the average or should they be matching up...thx!
I noticed that they did eventually converge. When I first filled up the tank, the Fuel-it App seems to be more accurate on the reading. But after driving 5 miles or so, the JB4 app showed a converged number with the Fuel-It. Maybe just until the fuel has time to mix and be consistent. I will run some logs in the next few days. But I’m thinking it’s just inconsistent in the first few miles after a fill up and then they converge.
Terry one descent log made of a long pull map 0. Factory intakes stock plugs both about to be changed. How does everything look? Can I start trying map 1 and 2 when plugs are changed? Also is best to give you logs att full throttle or longer partial throttle for review? Are fuel wires working correctly?
I really hope this is not the case but did you torque down the plugs till the crush washer seats? I would hope you don't have an unseated plug allowing fuel to escape out of the hole. I would think this would be instant fire though if that was the case so it is probably something else. Where do you smell the fuel coming from?
I hand tightend them and then gave them the 1/8 to 1/4 turn with the wratcher, double checked all wire connections and they seem good. I guess I'll go back through pulling the boots off all of them and trying again. The middle boot on passenger side came apart during install but went back together easily.
Problem solved stupid mistake by an armature that forgot to take pictures before dismantling. I dont even want to admit my mistake but in an effort to help the next armature....... here comes the embarrassment....... I crossed the wires for driver side plug 1 and 2. Please be kind and dont beat me up.
I'm waiting for a nice day to get my spark plugs installed. Also have to pick a day where I can use my girlfriends small hands. I could do it tomorrow but it would seem weird asking her for help on my car on her birthday. Hah. I have learned it is best to use some proper tools with swivel heads and magnets to make the spark plug swap smoothly and also to just do one plug at a time to eliminate any confusion during reinstall and mixing up the wires. I will be gapping them to 0.022 as i'm not sure if they came already gapped. I had purchased them with the JB4 kit on K8Stinger. I luckily have somewhere I can get E85 so I will be looking into using some of that when I want to get some better performance. Probably not until the spring.
