Burger Tuning JB4 for Kia Stinger!

Here's a log from today
Timings could be better in 5th(?) gear, but nice flat boost.
I wish map 8 didn't have such a strong taper with the RPM.

My Stinger has developed a misfire/hesitation... I haven't changed anything on the car or the JB4 recently... still running JB4 with fuel wires, Denso plugs gapped at 0.022, Borla exhaust, JunBL dp's, JT CAI and intercooler, GFB BOVs, premium 98 fuel.
Car now hesitates and loses power at around 2,500rpm under half to full throttle (and higher). JB4 locks up at this time also. Tried recording some logs, but could only manage the attached on Map0. Every other attempt resulted in JB4 locking up and no log recording. Car seems to run smooth and normal when driven gently. No CEL or codes coming up.
Any indication on what/where my problem is?

Plug or coil usually.

That's disappointing. I thought the Denso plugs are meant to be fine with the JB4?
Is there any way to identify which plug or coil? And then how do I determine if it is the plug or the coil?

They are but plugs can wear over time, factory coils can weaken or fail, etc. There is no way to know which cylinder is causing the issue until the car throws a misfire code. Once you know that you can swap around parts to identify the culprit.

Plugs have only been in for a little over 12 months and done about 10,000kms....
So I just wait and keep driving the car until it throws a code?

That is the easiest way forward. Or just pull and swap plugs on the easy to reach side of the engine.

Both sides are easy if you have a couple universal joints.. I changed mine at 10k miles. Keep in mind these cars are not a Honda civic. You will inevitably need to change plugs, tires, oil etc more often the harder you push the performance envelope.

I change my spark plugs every 10,000 km but sometimes earlier if I see unregular ignition timings.

You are right theres a mass confusion with Stinger Owners....

Removing the Dowpipes (primaries) will throw a CEL. You can delete the code but it will eventually come back on and throw your car out of sports mode. If you remove the Midpipes (secondaries) you will not throw any codes.

If you are not in the US i think the jb4 has a feature for a passive delete (would be amazing to use here) but in the US you can not use that feature. You will have to delete the code and restart the car for the CEL to go away (temporarily).

Also, dont remove the primaries ( i have and they are still off). Its a nightmare. Overboosting, lack of back pressure, turbo oscillation and many emails back and forth with terry :) . Just leave them on. If you really want to remove them wait until LAP3 or BTR release their ECU tunes.

From what I'm reading if I get to the point where I've removed my entire exhaust and replaced it with aftermarket exhausts that I'd have to get an actual ECU tune because of that problem. I'm using racechip and I'm already having turbo overspool and turbo oscillation with just intakes.

You have a stock exhaust?
The piggyback seems to be the problem.
Noone has overspool problem with only intakes using JB4.

Yes, stock everything except intakes. I also have racechip, and pills catch can

Try JB4. You won't even look back! ;)
