I have the optional Bluetooth connection and I make changes on the fly, but it was more to test out MAP 1 and MAP 2 and feeling the differences. I think once you set your MAP, you don't need to constantly change it when you turn on your car -JB4 will make sure your engine is warmed up before giving you all that power and vice versa when your engine is running too hot-. It'll just default to that MAP until you change it to something other MAP. Someone with more experience please correct me if I'm wrong.

I am interested in changing to feel the difference between maps as well. I actually have been on Map 2 for a couple weeks and love it but just purchased Boostane looking to try Map 3. The only thing is I haven't added CAI yet. Hoping not to blow out a spark plug!!!

Yeah, I bought the JB4 and Denso spark plugs because I was getting more power per dollar spent than a CAI or exhaust. I'm loving MAP 2, even though I'm commuting most of the time. This morning was especially fun when I did a pull from a red light.
The struggle is real. I know full well there is very little difference between maps 3 and 5, AND that I get even worse mileage on 5, yet and still I always go out of my way to a station that's not really close to get E85 so I can use it.
You can change maps at any time although I wouldn't suggest it while under full throttle. But cruising along, no problem. Firmware updates on the other hand engine should be off for. Those take a few minutes.

Everyone,
I had trouble downloading the newest firmware initially and realized I had my phone’s WiFi on. During the process the Kia warning system came on and said I need to have it serviced. I realize the engine was acting weird from not having any firmware on the JB4 at the time. I have since corrected that (with correctly adding firmware) and there is still an engine light on.
Questions:
Does the light eventually go away after a period of time?
Will KiA see an abnormality log on the ECU?
2nd Issue:
I registered to when I got the JB4 connect app however when I go to the N54 Tech blogs my registration (from the JB4 connect) doesn’t work. I tried to get a password reset but the site said It didn’t recognize my email address.
Do I need to register again (this time on N54 tech) since the app and the site are from two different sources?
Thanks guys!

In theory they might see you triggered a code at some point but not likely, and triggering a code doesn't prove you've been exceeding the factory specifications.

before Terry even looks at the log... the real question is why did you gap the Denso at 0.024- that is what the stock gap has to be at(actually 0.024-0.026) .
the Denso needs to be gap at 0.022
