Has anyone seen any Stingers in the wild?

Besides owning the Stinger, I have yet to see another one in my area besides the ones at dealerships. I am in the Kent/Fedway area of WA. Anyone seeing them around in their respective areas?

I am always on the lookout trying to find them...mainly because they are so nice to look at...lol

Yup. I live in the Beaverton (Portland, OR suburb) and talked with a guy who leased a black GT2. He came from a V6 Honda Accord and was looking into a Mazda6 (which is what I own). Then, through the business he works in (he works with dealerships), an owner told him to check out his Kia dealership's new Stinger. He did and he was sold. He told me that the first night he had massive buyers remorse "Why on earth did I get into a Kia?!" He said he went down to the garage, lopped the door and got into the Stinger GT and said to himself "Oh, this is why. Okay, I get it." Buyers remorse = gone.

So they are getting out there, and Kia is selling them, albeit a bit slower than I believe they would have thought. The awareness advertising is sparse, and the TV commercials I've seen are absolutely forgettable. They don't grab your attention to start, never hold it, nothing...

Ah, the Woodburn Outlet mall. Nice mall, but the Stinger is full up in local dealerships, that's for sure. Well, it depends how you would describe "full" on the lots, considering it's a high-end flagship vehicle for Kia it won't be littering the lots of a Soul or Optima, but they have a decent selection in the metro area to choose from, that much I know.

Mine still seems to be the only one in the wild in my little corner of L.A. County. Today I was waiting at a red light and a city bus pulled up in the left turn lane next to my driver's door. After a few seconds, the bus door opened, and I thought, what the ??? When I turned to look, the bus driver was giving me a thumbs up and signaling me to lower my window--so he could ask about the car.

I have had my Stinger coming up on two weeks now, and I have yet to see another one on the roads here in Northern VA. I know they are out there, I just have not seen one yet.

I get a lot of stares and have had a view people pull up beside me with a thumbs up, or a quick "roll down your window" chat at a red light or two. Love it!!

I’ve had mine since Nov. 30 & have only seen a white one, same with the stares & people asking what it is.

If you're on 66 at all, I'll be there everyday between Gainesville and Tysons. I've got a red GT2 and its my daily driver. I'm still waiting to see my first fellow Stinger on the road.

Yup, everyday for me as well, from Gainesville to Route 28 to Dulles area. I will keep a look out to see if I spot you. I am in Micro Blue.

Thanks Dave , But I'm a Canuck , and I've got a GT and a Sorento so I'm good ..................I held court discussing the car with several folks . I hope I sold one for you , there was a real American Car gearhead guy there that was blown away when I told him about youtube vids showing the GT beating Vettes , Mustang Gts etc .............we are all having fun with these cars !!
