Reminds me of the mark in leather we had in some other thread ... I'm a bit worried about that surface quality atm.
I discovered last night that the Stinger has a kickdown switch like BMWs. If you press the accelerator all the way you feel it click a little.
Definitely gives you that extra juice when passing.
In my experience with it, I fully depressed the gas pedal then pushed a bit harder which gives a bit more pedal travel. You feel an actual click as you press down too. This activates the kickdown and the transmission will downshift one gear for higher revs to give you better acceleration. Can you explain the functionality? You don't get full throttle until it clicks?

You are at WOT before the click. It simply downshifts while at WOT I believe.I wondered what the clicking was about. So unless it clicks you're not technically at WOT?
i can just see the complaints rolling in already. kia left wot out of the stinger unless you push extra hard. You are at WOT before the click. It simply downshifts while at WOT I believe.

I definitely don't think the leather will be as durable as in my last car--I only had one slightly worn spot on the driver's seat after 20 years--but that's the problem with softer leather generally. As far as the impression from the seat belt, I would think that a fabric steamer and a little gentle manipulation, maybe with a steamed microfiber cloth, might help relax the wrinkle and bring the dent back out.So... Does the indentation in the leather go away after some time? I hope so...
It seems as though the leather actually got stretched out and leather has no memory so once it stretches farther than its meant to be then thats itNot really. If you look at my photo you'll see a few lighter marks that were a bit worse than they are now. That big ugly one remains. This damage occurred 3 days ago.
I 'discovered' that the automatic wiper function is way too sensitive. Just a drop of water and it will start wiping and won't stop!, so I just keep it off.
The same is true of the parking sensors from what I can tell. This morning I figured out, in addition to coloring the line on the side you are too close to, the chime for the Lane Assist feature will also come out of the car speaker side of the lane edge you are too close to. It's the small things... that make this car a gem!
