JB4 Custom Fuel Wire Harness

This plug and play quick install adapter allows you to install a posi-tap for fuel control tuning without piercing the factory O2 sensor wiring providing a completely reversible connection.

Received my wire harnesses yesterday. Everything installed without a hitch (so it appears), updated the JB4 to revision 11 and no codes or anything this morning. Haven't run any logs yet but I'll assume for now it's all working (it should).

The only weird thing is I watched the older JB4 fuel wire install video to see where to run the wire and the wires must have been longer some time ago. They ran the driver side fuel wire back near the cowl, but mine wasn't long enough for that, I had to run it over/around the valve cover due to length. It's all fine, just unexpected. Mine has the built in fuel wires.

@ecko04, I had to unplug the harness to route the fuel wire to get rid of some cable slack and I'm just making sure that the "button" to remove the connector is "push down" style? I had to use a flat head with a little effort to push it down to disconnect the connector from your harness that attaches to the stationary connector on the engine. I've broken enough harness clips/retainers over the years to exercise caution with them, just making sure I'm using it correctly, it was a little more stiff than the engine/O2 side connector, that button is easy to press down. Silly question, I know, I just don't want to break it lol.

Yes, it is the push down style.
Alternatively, you can use a small flat head screwdriver or a pik tool to lift the tab to disconnect the harness. I sometimes prefer that approach for stubborn connectors.

Hey ecko04 where do we send payment to?

You’ll get the information next week. I don’t start collecting funds until I’ve sourced materials and have a handle on total expenditure for the batch.

Just picked up my GTS tonight. Would love one of your fuel harnesses.

How much are these? Im interested in one. Doesn't let me pm you.

Sending you a PM, would love one for my 2.0l. Will order the JB4 after I get your plug. Do you still need pictures for the 2.0 or was the previous post enough to make it work? Has anyone installed on the 2.0 and had anything to say? Thanks for all of your effort man!

Previous pictures worked fine.

I’ve sent 1 harness for the 2L. You’ll need to reach out to @TStaino for impressions.

I’ll add you to the list.

I can probably take another 2-3 for the October batch before reaching capacity.

I have not installed yet, but plan on doing that tonight or tomorrow. I’ll keep you posted.
