What did you do to your Stinger in Australia today?

I was supposed to get full tank of fuel, but they only gave me 3qtr's...

They ripped you off and bet it was 91 too. At least we did get a full tank

Full tank of fuel, no ribbon, no mats. Like ShannonC I got some portrait voucher that went straight in the bin. I've dined out on this injustice for 21 months plan on getting buried with it to.

The day I picked up my Stinger, the fuel gauge was less than half, I had to ask the sales guy, who then had to ask the sales manager, and they allowed me a whopping $25 dollars of Regular Unleaded 91, which my first ever drive of my Stinger was to a local petrol station, and I filled it up myself, so much for the full tank they promised me, I didn't even was allowed to keep the blue ribbon on the front windscreen.

Forgot to mention the carpet floor mats with StingerGT embroided in them was included, the Bi-modal was on the paperwork for an extra $2600, I'm happy now it was not available yet when I took delivery of my Stinger, so I had it cancelled.

They told me half a tank, we discussed it, the sales guy agreed to a full tank of premium. Picked the car up, the guy that sold it wasn’t there, some junior guy was given the task of handing it over to me, it had half a tank, when I asked them he said, half a tank is standard, don’t know anything about a full tank, so half tank was what I got and no doubt it was 91 or E10, they didn’t say. It’s never had less that 95 since I drove it off the lot.

Yeah agree, it’s the little things that count. I’m a bit like @Ozstung I’m dirty about it but what can you do. Price wise I got a good deal at the time, but I expected a bit more. On a positive note I got an extra $500 out of them for my 15 yr old Commodore compared to what other dealers were offering, and I left it with less than a 1/4 of a tank and 1 day left on the rego so that was a win for me.

I confess, the thought of gas did not occur to me as I drove away. I looked at the fuel gauge, I suppose. And it wasn't anywhere near empty or I wouldn't have driven up the canyon and back within the hour.

When buying my Stinger the salesman asked how i was paying for it ,said trade in of my Discovery 4 plus cash.Kept asking how much they would allow for the trade in,he kept avoiding until i said give me an answer.The answer was a laughable price,and upon hearing I got up and said ,seeya,there are other places that sell Stingers and the look on his face was priceless as i walked out.About !k from home the phone rang and it was the salesman saying that they had a rethink and could offer an additional 15 thou on the original trade price.Just to rub it in i made him drive to me to complete the paper work. Had the floor mat thrown in for free. As they say money talks and bulls**t walks.
