What did you do to your Stinger in Australia today?

Dropped in to the dealership this afternoon to book her in for the 20,000km service, just ticked over 20,000km on the drive home tonight. Anyway they only had 1 Stinger on the yard, neon orange they’re using as a demonstrator. Got it listed for just over $60,000 but didn’t see how many kms were on it. Don’t mind the orange up close, grew on me a little bit in the 20 minutes I was there talking to the sales guy, but don’t think it’s a colour I’d get for myself. Would look good with a gloss black spoiler and black rims. Sales guy said they’re only selling 1 or 2 Stingers per month if that. Said about 10% of them are getting bimodal fitted. He thinks the bimodal should be standard and that Kia have dropped the ball with it by not including it. Have to say I agree.

Only difference is the heated steering wheel, but that’s for all MY20, not just the orange. Otherwise it’s the same as the MY19, which differs from ours only in the screen, mood lighting, and stainless steel inserts in the boot.

What did we get......ZIP. We don't even get a bottle of wine or a box of chocolates when we buy a Stinger, well I didn't from my dealership but that's not surprising .

I got a voucher for a portrait photo shoot for $600 (IIRC)....and then you had to pay extra for the prints!!! It was quickly confined to the recycling bin.

We picked up our orange GT on the weekend with bimodal fitted, wouldn't have considered the colour until we saw it in person and it grew on us very quickly, also very glad we had the exhaust put on

No pics yet, but it is a car that makes you want to take photos. We are in Toowoomba, I have really only seen police Stingers around here

Congrats mate, welcome aboard. It is a unique colour and does grow on you. Regardless of the colour you’ll love the car, they haven’t really got a bad colour in the range. Good choice getting the bimodal, I regret not getting it but still love the car.
