What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

I went in and had my oil and filter change (number seven of nine free changes) and all points inspection. And, I forgot to tell them to not swap the wheels left to right. So, my TSW "Watkins" rims are now turning backwards. Wheel Werks said if it doesn't bother me to have my wheels rotating backwards that the car and tires don't care. But, knowing that car geeks will do a doubletake and say, "that idiot has his directional rims on backwards", DOES bug me. So on my way to the slot car race this evening I am stopping by and having them swap them back. :laugh::rolleyes:

(Oh, and I got a video of the inspection like last time; that was what alerted me to the rims now being on backwards: "Today concerns your vehicle for an oil change, tire rotation". Hah! :laugh: Never mind, that "rotation" is a completely inaccurate statement, because a swap from left to right is NOT a rotation.)
Wheel Werks put my wheels back on properly. My spokes are gliding into the air again, instead of "sawing" at it.

They asked if I had been tracking the car. :D I said not tracking, but I did some vigorous cornering on Tail of the Dragon. And they said they asked because the LF tire has really worn down outside tread. Some of the outside tread is "feathering", risking coming off altogether, which would likely expose the belts. That would be the result, mainly, I suspect, of my hard corning on "my skid pad" (the cloverleaf between I-215 eastbound and I-15 northbound); but the Dragon probably worked on it even more.

Anyway, I now have new front tires in my near future: I probably shouldn't be surprised that they are not going to wear out at c. the same time as a second set of rear Michelins. After all, I have over 22K miles on these front tires by now. :p

As I was going out the door, they said, "See you soon!"

Got my car back from the wrap shop yesterday afternoon, got PPF on the front half of the car and ceramic tint on all the windows (clearplex on the windshield). No more worrying about chipped paint and superheated leather :cool:

What's next?? I got some new badges and wheel caps coming in the mail...

I've been practicing drone filming and noticed that my drone SW has a feature which automatically clips scenes from different videos and auto edits. It worked pretty well in the beginning, but has bunch of random clips towards end.
I will practice more and share more Stinger drone videos before it gets crazy cold here.

Those look great! I just put BMS intakes on mine today. Borla exhaust is getting installed tomorrow.

Took it for a spirited drive, just a blast... I don't think any mod or shit we add to the car can trump the awesomeness of a simple spirited drive on this monsta.
