What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

The install of the armrest is very difficult due to the location of the back Phillips screws on the armrest. Go take a look. Trying to get a screwdriver In There without damaging the aluminum console back cover is almost impossible. Clearly they intend the entire center console to be removed which is a bigger pita. Using a very small screwdriver (shaft) with micro fibers laid down helps.... but it is difficult to get leverage.
I couldn’t even get that middle lower screw to budge with a thin screwdriver so had to hack the plastic around it. I did mess up the surrounding trim just a Little getting out the lower side screws (Armrest covers this trim when closed anyway).
The main reason I went down this road is because the Oem leather armrest creaked and I tried adding foam to the inside but it didn’t help too much. The alcantara one so far has a much tighter fit and makes no noise.

Took advantage of a photo opportunity...

What size outlet? Did you have to grind a bit off the bumper to make it fit?

For the Stock Muffler 51mm in x 89mm out And yes you have to grind a bit off the bumper, but its not noticeable once you put the tips IN;)

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I'm in Richardson, but the work was done at a friend's house in the Waco area.
The rear sway is a pain in the arse, but doesn't really need a lift, that driver-side mount is a bitch to get to no matter how high the car is off the ground. I didn't do the front, but it looks super simple.

Congrats in advance on your stinger!

Like the idea but not the colour but it’s your car your design and you like it so that’s what counts. In that regards it’s a thumbs up  and happy birthday too!

Thanks!

I got my car when no other local dealerships had sold a CS GT, but in 6 months I've heard of someone that isn't on this forum that is actively copying my build, COPY THAT!

Red is good. I just don't care much for the shade as depicted. Might look really more balanced in real life. Looking at the pics, my continued impression is that this idea would work better with a less "candy red": something closer to the High Chroma Red but without the sparkles, if you get what I am saying. Or something in between that and the subdued red of the nappa interior. I think that the rest of your car is unnoticeable; almost as if the wheels ARE what you are saying. Imho, rims should accent the whole car, not take over. Just food for thought. :)
