• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Australia-Specific Kia Stinger Discussion

Ditto. We've all been conned:D. I'm never going to trust Kia again....bastards!

Just checked the Kia website and they now have the Neon Orange on it. It's similar to the Techno Orange I had on my 2013 Platinum Sportage. The Orange really pops. Great colour as it doesn't show the dirt as much as other colours. They also also updated the specs showing that the MY20 does have the heated steering wheel. The salesman was actually right.

The sales in Canberra and surrounds should be good. It will making "Stingers in the wild" spotting a little more interesting to.

If you look at that pic of the orange Stinger, there is two opera houses

There are actually two sets of sails at the Opera House - a main set and a smaller one. So that part is correct.

The photo looks to be taken from Hickson Road, possibly Hickson Road Reserve (next to the Park Hyatt) - effectively the end of "The Rocks", on the other side of Circular Quay (with the Harbour Bridge right behind you). You can actually see the Harbour foreshore fencing through the picket fence. You can see the grass as well. I think the photo is taken roughly as follows (you can see the two sets of sails here too):

They may have placed the picket fence in location for the shoot.

...that's right rain on the 2 Victorians parade:laugh::laugh::laugh:. I didn't have the balls to critique them:rofl::rofl::p

Today went to Werribee and caught up with @DCBStingerGT for lunch, joined by hubby having a bite on his way to work.
Outside chatting all things " Stinger " when we hear someone saying hello, turn around and a silky silver Stinger had pulled up.
It was another forum member, @basysmith, parked in line and had a nice chat.:)
Sonic and Blue Thunder...

Great to see a Stinger get together. Hopefully some of us can join in next time, once we take delivery.

Today I saw a Neon Orange Stinger on Parramatta Rd near Summer Hill with STINGR1 plates, so I guess it was a press or company car. Strangely the promo shots show the orange with STINGR3 (which was previously on a ceramic grey car) and STINGR1 was on a red one - I guess they must switch them around a bit.

Absolutely, more the merrier, we want to do a Great Ocean Road Run sometime when the weather is a bit warmer :)

So I might come over to Melbourne (fly) and say hi next year if you organised a big meet. Some one will have to be my chauffeur though lol. TMaybe some of the Sydney crew could do the same?

I can walk but it will take longer. One other thing...you’re spell check is on the blink again lol:D
It's never been off the blink;).

Hi All,

Hope that you've been well. Not great driving weather at the moment. The Great Ocean Road would be a great drive in warmer weather.
Had confirmation that my car is due for the end of this month, so I expect pick up in the first week of September.

Those that have had the ceramic paint protection, do you think that it's worth while? I have seen some things online where people in the industry have said that it is overrated. What do you think?
