This is a 25 psi pull just before cut, 100% throttle opening. The turbos are capable of running this much boost.
This reeks of jealousy. You're like a kid arguing with his parents because he thinks they show favoritism toward his baby brother.
You're treated the way you're treated because of how you've behaved.
Sorry brother but you’re still incorrect because the JB4 has safegaurd’s in place to restrict boost at anything over 20psi.
And never said lower boost limits in 1st gear, although there may be. I said stock Stingers don’t hit full boost in 1st gear and from all the logs, dynos, etc yours is the only one doubling the usual 10-11psi in first.
And lastly “boost by gear” is intended to limit boost by the set amount, not increase it.
No offense but you’re trying way too hard to prove me or JB4 users wrong without the proper knowledge yourself.
Let’s all take a step back and get this thread on topic. Again we are all on the same team, even though we take or play different positions. No one position is better than another and we all get further working together as a Stinger team. The real enemy is all the non believers that we all want to prove wrong and think we should keep that as our motivation going forward. 5.0s, SSs, & SRTs are all on notice and let’s keep showing them what the Stinger is all about.![]()
I have several of Dabears logs showing 23,24,25 PSI. ecu_psi = 20.1, target=6, Boost = 25.1. I guess the safeguards don't always work.
Jealous of what? LMAO
stock wheels and tires? What are you planning on running at the track, tire wise?RWD and we have Tonka for testing the AWD stuff for us.

I'm not saying you have something to be jealous of. But if you remove yourself from the situation and read your post as an outsider you'll see what I mean.
I have to chime in for 2 seconds (I count slow). Reading about 92.8% of all the posts related to tuning JB4 v Tork, it seems a pissing match and not a "make the platform better" match. I'm preaching mostly to the quire (is that how that's spelled?) I know. JB4 guy loves to talk smack. I said from day 1 or 2 that that turns me off from using him. I would like to tune my vehicle lightly, but will never deal with someone who can't stay in their lane and focus on what they do as apposed to talking smack and doing their best to create a mob. The problem I see with Tork is that their group seems to get very heated about what JB4 says and unfortunately that leads to JB4 accomplishing it's task. I can't see myself dealing with someone who gets that heated, I can't afford someone to punch the rest of my teeth out.The funny thing is... one is a tune and one is a "plug and play" (relatively speaking)...it shouldn't be this hard to just stay in the lane and provide what they provide to the best of their ability. As a matter of fact; each company would do better if they worked together. BUT...I know it's personal, so cows will spin yarn before that happens. So...I've finally counted to 2.
As one who's outside this turf battle, it's kind of sad in general. My impression is that Tork and Terry each produce a really good product that gets us more out of our cars. I'm very happy with the JB4 and it sure as hell works, but might have gone with the ECU tune save for the fact that ease of removal/hiding my bad owner behavior was a pretty big factor. All this? Meh.
Choir
Quire is a collection of pages into an unbound manuscript. It is also an early variant of spelling "choir". Are you medieval?I'm preaching mostly to the quire (is that how that's spelled?)

Are we weighing the differences between a ECU that's tuned and one that's not? how much does loading all that data add to the weight of the Stinger.Trying to figure out what John's blabbing has to due with the Weight of a Stinger. Same with boost pressures lol.
I was brought up so i figured id chime in. I was overboosting ridiculously fast as Tonka mentioned. It wasnt a JB4 thing it was a EVERYONE THING I was catless in -50 degree (with the windchill) weather. Even John himself said his tune wouldnt help me BECAUSE HE DOESNT HAVE THE FULL ECU MAPPED OUT YET and to my knowledge no one does yet.
John says Cobb and Diablo wont get in because no one wants to tune their car... thas bs. There are plenty of people who want to tune thier cars just very few that want to deal with John. The 1000s of people with jb4s vs the 10 that have a Tork Tune can show you that people want to push thier cars just none want to deal with the nonsense. Espeically the one who comes here saying that Terry is Houdini creating an illusion and feeding us all lies. Anyone who has worked with Terry know the truth.
Since you were asked to come here John but didnt want to just leaveIts not like you have any customers here to support. Oh wait you have 1 here.
