Burger Tuning JB4 for Kia Stinger!

First I want to say a Disclaimer. "I am not a paid BMS employee or sponsored by BMS any shape or matter. Any mods you do to your car are at your own risk. I might not know what the hell I am talking about"

You have not missed anything lol. This is separate from the fuel wires, but its not required. The wire is for the IAT spoofing. Suppose to help people in colder weather. Still on testing phase I believe. All I know is I trust the man.

To get it you need to talk to Mr. BMS himself.

Thanks! Here in the north east it's probably something I would be interested in and hopefully it's all tested and ready to go in time for winter.

Would using an octane booster on top of the e30 be beneficial to performance?

Only if you have timing drops on E30... Evaluate your log to see if octane is an issue. If you can avoid the MMT based boosters I would simply because they turn everything orange and shorten the plug lifespan.

I bought the Turbo 108 octane boost which does contain MMT. Should I return it, if so what should I get?

MMT is great if you need octane... But if you have E85 then no reason to use both, in most situations. What is your situation?

Yemen from what ive seen they all have MMT... except one and ive forgot the name....lol
take a look at you tube....not good for longtime use on the internal parts....sparkplug life is certainly reduced.
Wash

I'm on 93 pump gas right now, I was just considering what the difference would be from using 93 with octane booster or just using e30.

Do like most of us do.....add 3/4 gals of E85 to a full tank of 93.......Wash

If you have access to E85 it's better all around. If not then octane booster is a good alternative.

Keep in mind I have the 2.0L, running e30 would I be able to use all maps?

Wash - are you thinking of boostane?

Works same as 3.3L but you'll probably want to go no higher than map3. We'll have to see logs. Not seen a lot of 2L on E30 yet.

Turbo yes boostane has MMT ....which turns internals orange and affects sparkplug life...:) Wash

My bad. For some reason I thought the "base" version (the road-legal version) didn't have MMT, but I was wrong - it just has less MMT..

Hi guy's I am back like I left something!

So far so good on the new Denso IKH27 plugs gapped at .024. Been driving the car on Map 2 for the past couple days. Yesterday I did some WOT pulls on Map 2. No signs of misfire, so now I will be moving to Map 8 and test the WMI.

@Terry@BMS I will do a couple map 8 runs without the IAT enabled. Also want to do a couple Map 8 runs with the IAT enabled. I know you told me to put a value of 30 to start. I just want to confirm where I put the value at.

Is that where I put the value of 30? Red arrow highlighted yellow?

If I want to deactivate do I just put 0? Do I need this enable all the time even if I am using Map 2?

Has there been any thought about adding remote start and/or turbo timer features to the JB4? Would be very handy additions for tuned cars, especially if they can be controlled via the app. Not sure if this would be possible...?

Honestly have not looked in to it. Might be theoretically possible but probably would involve a lot of work and extra wiring. :)

Just buy the Canbus module from K8StingerStore that was just released. Cheaper than buying the OEM remote start.

I have great news everyone!

I beat the hell out of the Stinger yesterday on Map 8! I beat the Stinger like I beat my meat! The car loves it!

Drove the car on Map 8 last night for a while. Did about 8 WOT runs. Not a single issue.

Car is running strong and the plugs are taking the abuse well. The car did not miss a beat. I drove the car very hard.

I took some logs which I will have Terry review to confirm everything looks good.

In all honesty if the car was going to misfire and blow a plug last night would of been it LOL.

No leaks, no issues, the install was a success. I will still keep an eye out to see if the plugs are too cold.

This BMS meth kit is bad ass!
