Skimming this thread is making me chuckle... I've been telling people they're downpipes, but started referring to them as midpipes here so that people wouldn't get confused as the majority were calling them that

Removing the cats theres a decent volume change

If youre running sotkc catback itll get a bit more throaty but the stock mufflers do a really good job at keeeping it near silent

Is this with the pipes only?

I ordered the Ark pipes, they are being installed Friday, I have no catback. Ordered them from khartz, think that is u right?

Anxious to see before and after dyno graphs on a car with an ECU tune. Despite opinions that catless downpipes don't give any increased power over and above those of a tune, the perceived increase in performance would likely be a result of a measurable increase in power or perhaps a shifting of the power and torque curves to the lower RPM numbers. We will have to wait and see.

Power efficiency and delivery changes because of less drag on the exhaust side of the impeller.

I'm still trying to line up the dyno shop to do the dyno and install for me before I order. My friend had a family death and had to leave the state so didn't get to finalize it with the guy he does his with yet. Hopefully next week.

How long did it take to replace them? And did they just unbolt the original ones near the cats to pull them out? Wondering if this can be done easily at home so they can be put back to stock for any Kia service visits.

No issues of rubbing
