I went the first 4K miles on my GT1 before I "discovered" the manual gate feature. You are correct, that is how it works with GT2. It would just be "nice" if we didn't need to "double tap" when coming to a stop.

So, yesterday I did the large Stinger script, removed the AWD and small Stinger badge. The lower badges came off no worries, and the Kia badge came off without ripping off paint (I used goo-gone and fishing line). I had to use a plastic drywall knife which isn't very hard, but it still managed to put some scratches and gouges into the paint around where the Kia badge was. What's done is done, but I honestly feel that shouldn't have happened with the tool I used and how gently I tried to use it. Either way, I have some tri-coat touch up paint on order (I needed some better paint for rock chips anyway). I'll draw on my prior experience of building up in the defects, sand and polish and see if I can turn a 6 foot away flaw into a 1-2 foot away flaw. The white does hide it better than a color does.
Hrm. Had you heated the badge prior to removing? I know in my case that was pretty key, they came off fairly reasonably with heat - and only with. Doing wheel centers and all that as well?
+1.... feelsbadman.Something plastic had broken every time I work on it.
Yuck. Sorry to hear, guys+1.... feelsbadman.
I used the trim removal tool, took my time, super gentle pressure, still managed to crack the plastic trim.

They are attached to the original paddles and I had the same concerns which is why I got the matching silver. Thanks! One other question. Do these just get added as an extension to the original paddles or are they removed completely? Thinking of buying red but concerned if the original ones remain and they are silver.
How?
