Indeed, and I do not have a red interior.

Problem is a slight fixation on red on my part...witness the gratuitous usage of red silicone for a couple of the hoses connecting my intakes. That may creep to other areas of the engine bay. Could do some blue hoses too, maybe some wire loom. The Team USA vibe.

Avoiding solid red wheels because I don't want to be Santa's Stinger. Too much work getting reindeer bits out of the grill.
I dig the red accent wheels.

On your white, it’ll look nice. Wrap you mirrors/vents/front grill surrounds red too!!!

Still "itching" to see a set of Weld's on a Stinger....like the S77s or S71s Forged.

If it aint broke, dont fix it...just tweak it!

So visited with my local Discount Tire today to see if they could get the Verde Axis less expensive than I could online (they couldn't, so ordered online).

I'm going to have them do the mount & balance when I receive the wheels and showed them the pic of the TPMS adapters. They've used those and like them, but also suggested another method; bands. Basically a giant hose clamp with a bracket that holds the TPMS, allowing them to use a stubby rubber valve stem.

They're charging me $18/wheel for swapping my tires over, bands & brackets, balancing, etc.

Wheels are backordered, so won't arrive until around May 17 or so.

Thanks @Clearly Canadian for all of your help!

Would it still give you a proper reading?

Is this just because of the goofy way the verde axis valve stem location is?

I'm planning on niche Misano. Basically the same wheel.

Alright after many months of searching, Here are the TSW Sebring 19" 8.5" +30 front 9.5" +40 Rears - on stock rubber atm

No reason that is shouldn't give a proper reading. Its reading pressure within the tire, so that shouldn't change.

Once mine are on, I'll post pics of the dash (sensor) readings as well as good old manual tire pressure gauge.

Hi,

I am considering to purchase TSW Bathurst wheels for stock tires (my car is GT2 AWD):
front: 19 x 8 +35 which is no problem and almost the same as the stock

rear: 19 x 9 +30 - here I am concerned about the offset. Factory is 46.5 (255/35 stock tires) I do not want the wheels to protude out of the car body outline (it is a question of an annual vehicle inspection as well as an extra noise genereted).
Do you have any experience with the same wheel size and offset on stock tires (or similar)? Aren't they protruding / any rubbing? Pictures would be welcome :)

Yes I considered them also front fine. On back I would want at least a +40.

Ye, they are very light and look nice.
19 x 9.5 is +39 (close to 40) but too wide... 19 x 9 +30 would be great if suitable

Stock is 19x8 and 19x8.5
9.5 and 10.5 is a huge increase in wheel width, I am very surprised that 225 and 255 tyres fit these wheels.

They'd have to be horribly stretched, which is a trend I really dislike personally (saw lots of it on the VAG community, especially USDM).

235s are pretty ideal on an 8" or 8.5" rim. 225s on a 9.5" is just crazy IMHO.

Can't comment on 255s and 10.5" wheels, as I've never run either.
