xot1 Which spary nozzle are you using? Did you install and step up to the BM10? I think I saw somewhere that you were running a BM7 nozzle when you first installed it.
Top speed 158mph in JB4 log, 164mph in the HUD.
Max boost 19.2 psi around the end.
Default settings except additive which was 80 on this run. FYI I use ethanol instead of meth.

This morning I was getting the V9 firmware update for the JB4 and as it was updating I realized the car engine was on so I canceled the update as it was updating. I then turned the car off and on again. When I turned it on the check engine light came on and the car seemed like it was stalling and the RPM were going up and down.
Let me tell you something it scared the shit out of me, I started freaking out.
I immediately tried to trouble shoot the problem. I disconnected the JB4 completely and the problem went away, the car was no longer stalling. The check engine light was still on thou. I disconnected the ground on the battery for 10 minutes and then I connected back together. I then installed the JB4 again and tried connecting to the JB4 via the app/Bluetooth and it would not connect. I then went ahead and did the update again and loaded the new firmware V9 and the problem went away.
The problem was that somehow when I went to update the firmware the first time and cancelled it the JB4 had no firmware on it. If the JB4 has no firmware on it it will not run properly. At first I didn't know this so of course I freak out. It was a very easy fix I didn't have to disconnect the battery or the JB4 like I did. All i had to do was update the firmware again. I am sharing my experience in case this happens to someone, don't freak out just update the firmware again. If you get a check engine light disconnected the battery for like 10 minutes and it will get rid of it and it wont come back again.
I was doing this update at like 7:00 am, as soon as it happened before I fixed the issue I emailed Terry. Keep in mind that in California it was 5:00 am. Being a Saturday I never taught Terry would get back to me on the same day. A few hours later Terry emailed me back with some tips to troubleshoot. I already had fixed the problem when he emailed me back. The point is that this kind of customer service is what makes JB4 an amazing product. Terry did not have to answer right away, but he did. As you all know I am not sponsored by BMS, but Terry customer service and support is unreal. The man does not sleep, the man does not take any days off. I don't know how the F#ck he does it lol.
I just wanted to share my experience because it might help others.

Welcome to the world of IT. Its been this way since the beginning. We work all day to get ready to work at night and on the weekend, which happens to be what I am doing right now until about 8 am this morning.

Why would you need a new harness? Unless the pin is damaged, looks like you just need to properly install it. Zooming in on the pic it looks like it’s intact, seems like you just need to push it until it’s seated properly (you’ll hear a click).
If that’s the case, I would find a new “technician” friend to do installs.
