Are you playing music from a usb?It seems to have fixed itself. Hopefully this isn’t a reoccurring issue.
Does this lose your settings? On the face of the stereo unit, there is a small, unmarked button that you can push with a pen tip or something small. That will reboot the unit and should restore the audio from the speakers. It's just to the right of the Radio button in the black plastic area.
Does this lose your settings?
Great to know! Thanks!!No, all your settings and presets stay
I had a no volume issue this weekend on a 2019 GT2 RWD with 1000 miles.
4/5 afternoon iPhone plugged in via USB listening to music no problems
4/6 morning had volume until iPhone plugged in and then nothing until car was shut off and on again with iPhone unplugged, plugged back in and no volume again. Tried the same with the Android phone same issues.
4/7 everything was back to normal.
My Kia sales person said they have been having this issue with a lot of Kia models not just the Stinger. but had no resolution for it.
Nope plugging it in after car is running where I can hear the FM radio and then nothing ince plugged in not even FM radio until I unplug and restart the caeYour not plugging in your phone before starting the car are you. I found it doesn't like that. Haven't had any problems since I started starting the car first before plugging the phone in.
I need a better description of where this reset button is, I guess! LOLI have not had any volume or speaker quirks on my car since hitting the reset button. I've only had some Bluetooth connectivity issues for media, but that is more likely a phone/car handshake issue. A reset button press fixes that issue too, or restarting the car.
I always plug in my phone to the USB before starting the car, I don't believe that's related to the issue.
