The Sport 4 tires turn into hockey pucks when temperatures get low - very poor traction.I think the cold, along with have my summer tires on, was the culprit.

Meanwhile, I'm running 12.1-12.0 with 18.5psi peak boost with just Dp's and intake.Below is the number 4 and number 5 spot on the track 1/4 mile
Seems like the Tork ecu stage 1 tune out performs the JB4 on map 8 at least on the Track with similar mods.
There both AWD. The only diffference between the 2 is Kato is running WMI and Miguel is running an Intercooler, which they somewhat offset each other. I believe the WMI is more effective than the intercooler but that is just my opinion.
I think the JB4 on map 8 runs more boost than Tork stage 1.
Tork 17-18 psi on stage 1
JB4 probably runs about 7-9 psi over stock on map 8, JB4 probably runs anywhere between 18-22 psi. Than means the JB4 is running about 2-4 more psi than the tork Stage 1 tune.
Someone correct me if I am wrong but based on this info this is what it seems.
4. 12.09 @ 114.83, Miguel P, 7.80 @ 91.61, 1.86
GT2 AWD, Tork ECU Stage 1, CX CAI, CX FMIC, muffler delete.
5. 12.12 @ 116.82, @Kato_the_kia_stinger 7.91 @92.12, 1.92
AWD, JB4 map8, K&N intake, VT snorkel, WMI, 93 octane
Yeah, whatever helps you sleep at nightWith map 8 there's not a set boost level, you set it yourself in the app. He could be running 15psi, he could be running 18psi. It all depends on the boost additive setting. Also if you think a 12.09 @ 114.83 is "outperforming" a 12.12 @ 116.82 (2MPH faster) then you have a lot to learn about drag racing. That's not a small difference
Ok boss! Thank you sir you really seem to know a lot about drag racing....... I’m lost here. ???Meanwhile, I'm running 12.1-12.0 with 18.5psi peak boost with just Dp's and intake.
I'm all about more with less!
My bad, yes, Lap3 Protuner mode 2.I’m lost here. ???
No mid pipes? Then we should edit your slot on the list. I think it says you have mid pipes. Also, Who is overboosting? My bad, yes, Lap3 Protuner mode 2.
Catless primary yes, no . 0 over boost issues.
Nice to see someone with a Lap 3 pro. How do you like it ? I ask because I know a couple people who have JB4 and primary and had overboost issues. My bad, yes, Lap3 Protuner mode 2.
Catless primary yes, no . 0 over boost issues.

I know Lap 3 sell the primary so I figured there Lap 3 pro would not have any issues with overboosting. I wonder what the difference is between the JB4 and lap 3 pro? I have not heard of anyone with a lap 3 pro and primary DP complain of overboost issues yet.My bad, yes, Lap3 Protuner mode 2.

That's good to know. I have to look at that before I make my decision on pipes and exhaust mods. Come to think of it, I don’t know anyone with a jb4 and primary cat delete. Only mids.I know a couple people that had issues with JB4 with primary DP. They had some overboostong issues.

One more thing worth mentioning. If you get primary DP don’t get the NGT, pay $100 extra and get the lap 3. I heard a couple have fitment issues with the NGT and it cost them a lot more than $100 bucks to fix. That's good to know. I have to look at that before I make my decision on pipes and exhaust mods. I’m definitely deep into the research. I don’t think I’ll end up with DPs or removing the primary cats. That’s a bit too aggressive for my interest. But the mids and back, I’m considering some options. Thanks for the input. One more thing worth mentioning. If you get primary DP don’t get the NGT, pay $100 extra and get the lap 3. Surprisingly the 4s doesnt. The Sport 4 tires turn into hockey pucks when temperatures get low - very poor traction.
Kato, my current set-up is what I listed .I did reinstall the oem midpipes after having some oil burning issues due to insufficient back pressure on turbo seals .
My 1/4 miles we're achieved with Ssr
midpipes,yes.
Angel, I've posted quite a few videos via fbook and on my YouTube channel. I've been using lap3 since about 2015 with my FBO sonata. After using several other KDM tuners (sfr,BTR,etc) this was a totally diff experience. Silky smooth throttle mapping etc.. so when I got the Stinger, my mind was already made up.
I couldn't be more impressed. Call me whatever you want, shit is legit .
And no, 0 issues. I have never experienced anything like the others. I have had fuel cut due to lack of octane which the ProTuner is super sensitive to. It was resolved by simply splashing more E and driving for 10 min, then it was all gravy.
