• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Australia-Specific Kia Stinger Discussion

Depends where you got them from. I got mine from the forum shop and the one that needs to be taken off was already off
Can you please confirm which one I need to grind down? Is it the same as the American video showing you?

I should be the bottom post, a little hint, using a good quality pair of side cutters gently grasp the post as close to the tape as possible then with minimum pressure rotate the side cutters around the circumference of the post until it “wears” through, then using a twist drill that is slightly larger in diameter as the post carefully drill the remainder of the post down so it is well below the level of the tape, this then should not touch your bodywork once it is applied.
Also another hint, before peeling the adhesive backing off test fit badge to car to ensure the “E” is level, if not file a flat on the bottom appropriate post until level.

Ok gonna be tough because I'm giving to the dealer to do haha

Can’t remember now, and it’s stuck to the car so can’t check lol. Have a look in the shop section of the forum there’s pics of the badge with the pin removed

Is it just me or is this front badge huge?

You must have small hands...lol, it should be Diameter 77mm with a slight curve to match the front panel.

But my stuff has arrived yayView attachment 20546

Nice loot, where did you buy the LED reflectors from & how much, Ive been eyeing a set of these myself, what’s the initial quality like.?
Is your dealer installing these as well?

I got everything you see there for 500 delivered from America I think...quite expensive and I know I paid a premium for the badges but didn't know about this forum shop when I ordered.

I'm getting an auto electrician to install for 70 bucks.

Sequential of course :p be careful not to order the wrong one. I didn't realise it was a selection...had to get refunded and reorder right one.
Yes, I would go sequential as well, keep me posted please on the install & functionality of them.

Yes I would remove the post myself to ensure it is done to my satisfaction & the knowledge that the remainder of the post isn’t hard up against the paintwork.

Ouch, don’t quash too hard you still need to pick up the small hole in the centre so you can drill it down.
